Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Calderwood-Adduci has established a distinguished career marked by resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to service. Since 2017 and 2024, respectively, she has served as a holistic family recovery coach and nutritionist and as a co-parenting advocate at Building Healthy Pathways, a business she founded to support her private practice, as well as families navigating the complexities of divorce and recovery. Among her responsibilities, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci guides individuals affected by substance use, drawing on her expertise in nutrition and holistic health to promote overall well-being.

Additionally, through her organization, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci has become a bestselling author of "Protecting Children Through Divorce: 12 Self-Guided Reflections," published in December 2025. The book draws from her personal experiences with divorce and explores the profound impact these events often have on children.

Aside from her work at Building Healthy Pathways, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci has been the administrator of a drug and alcohol treatment center since 2021. In this capacity, she leads a team of over a dozen executives, overseeing operations at a facility dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role represents a significant milestone in her professional journey, as she transitioned from many years as a finance executive to hospital administration, a leap that required courage and determination. Despite initial doubts about her ability to succeed in this new field, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci embraced the challenge and now finds fulfillment in guiding her team and making a meaningful difference in the lives of clients.

From 2017 to 2021, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci served as an assistant hospital administrator at a forensic psychiatric hospital. Initially joining the institution in a finance role, she was encouraged by the hospital administrator to apply for the assistant administrator position after only a few months. After heeding the administrator's advice, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci was selected for the role based on her leadership potential, where she quickly discovered a passion for supporting individuals with mental illness in forensic settings.

Ms. Calderwood-Adduci's academic achievements have played a pivotal role in shaping her career trajectory. She earned a Bachelor of Science in foods, nutrition and wellness studies at the University of Alabama in 2017, which laid the foundation for her work as a nutritionist and holistic health coach. Subsequently, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci received a Master of Science in leadership, management and strategy from Michigan State University in 2022, equipping her with advanced skills essential for effective organizational leadership.

In addition to her formal schooling, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci's professional credentials include licensure as an independent alcohol and drug abuse counselor through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services. She is also certified as a family recovery coach by BALM Family Recovery and holds certification as a holistic health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Throughout her career, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to professional development and community engagement. She is currently serving in her 19th year with the Pan Mass Challenge, one of the largest fundraisers supporting cancer research. She also supports Teen Challenge, an organization supporting substance use disorder and recovery.

In light of her success, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci was recently recognized with the Professional Excellence Award by the Massachusetts Agency in contract. She attributes her success to hard work, perseverance, and the steadfast support of those around her, including her encouraging parents, supportive husband, family, friends, and colleagues.

Ms. Calderwood-Adduci's journey reflects an enduring commitment to personal growth, compassionate leadership, and service to others. These qualities continue to define her impact within both professional circles and the broader community. Looking ahead, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci plans to expand her private practice while preparing for retirement from full-time work. She also intends to launch a blog and podcast focused on supporting divorced professionals, initiatives that align closely with her mission of empowering families through challenging transitions. Additionally, Ms. Calderwood-Adduci's aspirations include dedicating more time to volunteerism, particularly in cancer support organizations inspired by her mother's experience with surviving the disease, as well as contributing expertise at drug and alcohol treatment centers.
