Texas was identified as a compelling location for evaluation given the state's formal semiconductor support structure, including the Texas CHIPS Office, the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Consortium, and the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund.

As part of its early-stage planning, ARKothari Corporation considered collaboration with a range of leading engineering, construction, cleanroom, gas, and advanced-materials providers capable of supporting a project of this scale and technical complexity. Potential partners under evaluation included Exyte and Exentec for high-tech facility design, engineering, construction, cleanroom technology, ultra-high-purity chemical and slurry distribution, gas supply, process exhaust, and gas abatement systems; Jacobs for semiconductor facility engineering and planning support; Fluor for engineering, procurement, construction, and broader project lifecycle execution; Air Liquide Electronics and Linde for ultra-high-purity gases, electronics specialty gases, and materials support; and Entegris for advanced materials and process solutions serving semiconductor manufacturing.

The goal was to assess how a Texas-based facility could support current and future demand from semiconductor and electronics manufacturers seeking dependable domestic sources of high-purity process chemicals and related materials.

While the project did not ultimately proceed to execution, the evaluation reinforced ARKothari Corporation's conviction that semiconductor chemicals and related advanced manufacturing segments remain attractive long-term opportunities.
