Mr. Hanson has established a distinguished career in Quality Assurance, Computer Systems Validation, and Program and Project Management, earning recognition for his expertise and leadership across multiple industries. Over the past four years, he has served as a Senior Consultant at Osprey Life Sciences, where he is also a Senior Resource Manager. In this capacity, he manages consultants, conducts team check-ins, and provides guidance to teams on integrating quality into their daily work. He is deeply committed to mentoring and training, currently shaping the professional journeys of five individuals. His efforts have been instrumental in establishing robust processes and workflows for clients, ensuring that quality remains central to organizational operations.

Prior to joining Osprey Life Sciences in 2022, Mr. Hanson held the role of Senior Project Manager consultant at Takeda from 2021 to 2022, after one year as a Client Operations Manager at Azzur Group. From 2020 to 2021, he worked as an IT Computer Systems Validation specialist and consultant at Project Outlier, focusing on regulatory compliance and system validation for life sciences clients. During the same period in 2020, he was engaged as a UAT and Release Program Manager and consultant at OpenText.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hanson served as Senior Project Manager and consultant at both J. Jill and Hawkins Point Partners. A significant portion of his career was spent with Collaborative Consulting LLC from 2006 to 2018, where he advanced through several roles, including Senior Principal Consultant, Senior Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Assurance Practice Lead. His tenure was marked by successful collaborations with managers who set high standards—experiences that shaped his approach to consulting and leadership. Notably, his mentorship extended beyond technical training to fostering professionalism and office etiquette among staff.

Between 2017 and 2018, Mr. Hanson was a consultant Computer Systems Validation Manager at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, after five years as a Quality Assurance Program Manager for Takeda Oncology, where he established a Testing Center of Excellence. His earlier consulting roles include working with State Street Bank, The New England Journal of Medicine at the Massachusetts Medical Society, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Harvard Business School Publishing. Before his consulting career took shape, Mr. Hanson was Director of Quality Services at OneShield and held the same role at e-Nable Corporation, a subsidiary of the Medical Information Bureau. While at e-Nable Corporation, he co-authored the TXLife XML Standards and contributed software solutions that interfaced with the North American life insurance market.

Mr. Hanson began his professional journey in information technology with ESS Software in 1997 despite having no prior experience in IT or software development. He credits this formative experience—and the mentorship he received from a couple who guided him during his time at ITSA—for shaping his personal and professional growth.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hanson has demonstrated a commitment to innovation by identifying gaps, such as the absence of defect-tracking systems early on and developing solutions that were adopted by multiple organizations. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in economics with a focus on political science from UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics in 1991 and an Associate of Arts in Business from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill in 1989. He has bolstered his expertise by earning industry certification as a Process-Based Auditor and is a Senior Member of ASQ (the American Society for Quality).

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Hanson is civically engaged as a volunteer with local neighborhood organizations for the City of Boston and with the Jones Hill Association. In his free time, he enjoys studying the German language—a passion reflected by multiple trips to Berlin and Vienna—and looks forward to visiting Munich soon as part of fulfilling his travel aspirations.
