Currently serving as the Senior Clinical Director at Evoraa Healthcare, which operates Music City Detox in Nashville, Tennessee, Ms. Dyar has established herself as a leading expert in substance abuse recovery. Since joining the organization in 2025, she has led a multidisciplinary team of Primary Therapists, Case Managers and Group Facilitators, while also coordinating with community resources to provide comprehensive care for those in need.

Overseeing a 28-bed residential and detox facility, Ms. Dyar is responsible for developing and implementing programming that addresses every aspect of an individual's recovery. In addition to hiring and mentoring staff — including Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors and Licensed Social Workers — she collaborates with medical providers, nurses and technicians to ensure that the facility's programming is both clinically effective and grounded in empirical research. She places a strong emphasis on holistic support, covering medical appointments, legal issues, housing and financial matters for clients.

Prior to joining Evoraa Healthcare, Ms. Dyar served as the Executive Director of Connections Wellness Group from 2023 to 2025, managing operations and guiding the company's mission to deliver accessible mental health care.

From 2018 to 2022, Ms. Dyar excelled as a Behavioral Therapist at Pathway Healthcare in Columbus, Mississippi. There, she played an integral role in a Medically Assisted Treatment mental health program that included an Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals with substance use disorders. She collaborated closely with doctors, therapists and psychiatric nurses to provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet each individual patient's needs.

Ms. Dyar began her clinical career at Christian Changes Counseling and Recovery Center in Starkville, Mississippi, where she worked as a Mental Health Therapist from 2015 to 2019. In this private practice setting, she provided individual and group counseling services and developed her passion for working with acute cases — those who are most in need of help and often present the greatest challenges.

In addition to her clinical roles, Ms. Dyar contributed to academia as a course instructor of Human Growth and Development and Abnormal Psychology courses at East Mississippi Community College from 2017 to 2019.

Earlier in her journey, Ms. Dyar held positions outside the mental health field that also contributed to her administrative acumen. She excelled as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Garden Homes of Highlands Plantation from 2013 to 2015 and in dual roles as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Evans Realty Inc. from 2011 to 2013.

A pivotal moment in Ms. Dyar's career occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when she recognized the urgent need for telemental health services in rural Mississippi. Upon earning board certification in telemental health through the National Board for Certified Counselors in 2022, she successfully delivered critical mental health support virtually during a period marked by increased isolation, substance use and mental health crises. Her efforts ensured that Pathway Healthcare became one of the few providers able to offer essential services during this challenging time — a professional achievement of which she remains especially proud.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Dyar earned a master's degree in Counselor Education with a Clinical Mental Health emphasis and special designation in addiction from Mississippi State University in 2016. She completed her undergraduate studies at William Carey University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Pre-Medicine emphasis in 2012. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, she gained valuable experience as a graduate research and teaching assistant at Mississippi State from 2015 to 2016.

Throughout her academic journey, Ms. Dyar was recognized with several honors including induction into the Golden Key International Honour Society, Phi Kappa Phi, Chi Sigma Iota and Kappa Delta Pi — all at Mississippi State University — as well as Pi Gamma Mu at William Carey University.

To augment her professional qualifications, Ms. Dyar was licensed as a Professional Counselor with the Mississippi Board of Professional Counselors in 2019 as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation by the Tennessee Board of Professional Counselors in 2023. She also holds board certification as a Telemental Health Provider through the National Board for Certified Counselors, along with certifications from the American Heart Association's Lifelong Learning Center and the National Center for Suicide Prevention.

Reflecting on her storied journey thus far, Ms. Dyar attributes much of her drive to her upbringing in Hattiesburg, where she witnessed firsthand the consequences of limited access to mental health resources within her community. This personal history instilled in her a deep commitment to advocating for improved accessibility and support systems for all those who struggle with mental illness or addiction.

Alongside her primary roles, Ms. Dyar maintains active involvement with several industry-related organizations including the American Counseling Association, Students of Osteopathic Medicine Association, Health Occupation Students of America and the National Board for Certified Counselors. Also known for her dedication to civic engagement, she volunteers regularly in clothes drives and food drives, participating in community fundraising events such as car washes and school supply drives and offering pro bono mental health services within her community.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Dyar is devoted to her two young children and enjoys exploring motherhood through creative activities such as dancing, pottery painting, baking, gardening and various crafts that enhance her surroundings aesthetically.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Dyar remains committed to eradicating stigma surrounding substance abuse disorders and related issues such as homelessness.
