FORT COLLINS, CO, May 04, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bonnie Skinner Titley, EdD, is a distinguished biographee of Marquis Who's Who. Inspired by her passion for literature, Dr. Titley earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Colorado Boulder in 1959. She subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in English at the aforementioned institution while working as an administrative secretary for the director of admissions. Throughout the following five years, Dr. Titley began her career as an educator at Colorado State University, where she was recruited as an instructor in the department of English.

While working as an English instructor at Colorado State University, Dr. Titley found further success as the assistant chairperson of the department of English during the late 1960s. Between 1970 and 1987, she was appointed as Colorado State University's director of academic advising. Towards the beginning of this period, Dr. Titley simultaneously completed a Doctor of Education at the University of Northern Colorado. She also served as the vice president and as the president of Colorado State University's chapter of Phi Betta Kappa, which she had previously helped establish in 1973.

In 1988, Dr. Titley accepted a position as an administrator for Colorado State University's College of Health and Human Sciences. She thrived in this capacity until 1996, at which point she issued her professional retirement. Between 1995 and 1996, Dr. Titley simultaneously worked as an assistant professor at Colorado State University's School of Occupational and Educational Studies. Following her retirement, she was distinguished as an assistant professor emeritus.

Alongside her responsibilities as an educator and academic administrator, Dr. Title has served as the editor of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) journal since 1983. She has additionally contributed to Phi Betta Kappa as a screening officer for more than 40 years. Between 1993 and 1997, Dr. Titley found further success as a board member for the Rotary Club of Fort Collins, which promoted her to the position of president between 1995 and 1996.

Since her retirement, Dr. Titley has continued to excel as a board member of the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures in Fort Collins, Colorado since 2011. She also currently contributes to Colorado State University's U.S. Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) as the chairperson of the advisory committee. Dr. Titley had previously served as a ground school instructor for the aforementioned ROTC program during the 1980s. In recognition of her success as an instructor, she was presented with the Commander's Award for Public Service Medal on behalf of the United States Department of the Army in 1992.
