From 2013 to 2020, Mr. Nash held the roles of chief executive officer, chair and board member at Pivot3, with operations in Austin, Houston and Boulder, Colorado. Mr. Nash previously spent over a decade as a partner and executive-in-residence at InterWest Partners in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex from 2000 to 2014. Mr. Nash acquired a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1970. He then served in the military as a member of the First Battalion, Third Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), of the U.S. Army at Fort Myer, Virginia, from 1971 to 1972. Mr. Nash ultimately returned to college, earning a Master of Science in management and finance from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1979.
An active member of several industry-related organizations, Mr. Nash is affiliated with the Defense Management Institute and Business Executives for National Security, reflecting his ongoing engagement with both national security issues and business leadership. Beyond his professional endeavors, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement. He has served as the co-chair for the capital campaign at the University of Texas at Dallas. Today, Mr. Nash remains a dedicated volunteer on several boards at both Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Texas at Dallas and is actively involved at Highland Park United Methodist Church.
As an author, Mr. Nash published "The Making of a Business Leader: My Path to Leadership in the Information Technology Industry" through Christian Faith Publishing Incorporated in 2021.
