MESA, AZ, May 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tony Renello has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Renello has established himself as a distinguished leader in behavioral health, with a career spanning nearly 15 years and marked by significant achievements in substance use disorder, mental health disorder and healthcare administration. As the regional director of Arizona for Virtue Recovery Center since 2020, he oversees compliance with legal standards, policies and procedures while ensuring the facility operates using data-driven decision-making.

In his current role, Mr. Renello is responsible for caring for patients, guiding associate-level clinicians through their clinical supervision hours and developing direct clinical programming to ensure effective delivery. He assists in managing facilities across Arizona, Texas, Nevada and Oregon, supervising 167 staff members and seven directors based in Arizona.

In addition to his current role, Mr. Renello serves as the Executive Director of Virtue Recovery Center Sun City West, a position he has held since 2020. He continues to demonstrate his commitment to advancing behavioral health care by maintaining high standards of patient care and operational excellence.

Mr. Renello is also the founder of Da Vinci Consulting Services, established in 2020. Through this firm, he supports newly established facilities in strengthening their programs by assembling a team of professionals with diverse licenses and disciplines. Recognizing the challenges faced by those new to the field, he created Da Vinci Consulting Services as a resource for launching and operating compliant treatment centers.

In 2023, Mr. Renello held the position of chief operating officer at Lighthouse Support Services LLC in Mesa, where he contributed to organizational growth and operational efficiency. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the chief clinical and compliance officer at Buena Vista Health and Recovery Centers, overseeing clinical operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Mr. Renello's tenure as the executive director of Virtue Recovery Center in 2020 was particularly notable for opening the organization's first facility during the COVID-19 pandemic. This period demanded resilience and adaptability due to the complexities of maintaining continuous on-site staffing amid unprecedented public health challenges.

Prior to these leadership roles, Mr. Renello was the executive director of Vogue Recovery Center in Phoenix from 2018 to 2020. He previously served as a program coordinator at Lifewell Behavioral Wellness Inc., now Terros Health, from 2017 to 2018, where he provided care for adult women with serious mental illness at a state-funded Medicaid facility.

From 2016 to 2017, Mr. Renello worked as a program manager at Pronghorn Psychiatry in Prescott, further honing his expertise in behavioral health management. His earlier experience includes serving as a lead counselor at Mission Treatment Center in Scottsdale between 2013 and 2016 and holding dual roles at The River Source Treatment Center as both a behavioral health technician from 2011 to 2013 and an intensive outpatient program manager from 2012 to 2013.

Throughout his career, Mr. Renello has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to supporting individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges, often working with patients during some of their most difficult moments. He takes pride in seeing former patients achieve meaningful, lasting change after completing treatment, reinforcing his dedication to the field and his belief that positive transformation is possible through purposeful action and service to others.

Mr. Renello's professional affiliations reflect his commitment to advancing standards within behavioral healthcare. He has been a member of the Substance Abuse Academic Review Committee for the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners since 2025 and has served as the vice president of the Arizona Board for Certification of Addiction Counselors since 2020, after joining as a board member in 2018. Additionally, he holds the position of secretary with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and is an active member of NAADAC. In 2026 Mr Renello achieved a certifcation through the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) holding the distinction of Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

In 2025, Mr. Renello earned both a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration and management and a master's degree in human resources management and services from Western Governors University. He also holds a Master of Science in clinical and counseling psychology from Capella University, completed in 2015, following a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Kaplan University, earned in 2011. Mr. Renello's dedication has been recognized through academic honors, including the President's List and Dean's List during his studies.

In addition to his formal education, Mr. Renello has been licensed as an independent addiction counselor by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners since 2020.

Mr. Renello's drive for meaningful impact stems from personal experiences: motivated by his family's history with addiction and mental health conditions, as well as his own challenges with substance use during youth, Mr. Renello redirected his life approximately 15 years ago by returning to school and pursuing advanced education in behavioral health.

Born in Mesa, Mr. Renello enjoys outdoor meditation, hiking, exercising at the gym, taking mini vacations and camping during his personal time. Looking ahead, he aims to become a board member responsible for reforming Arizona's Medicaid system — actively participating in study groups within provider networks and contributing to efforts to establish a formally ratified body dedicated to updating state laws governing Medicaid.
