Since 2025, she has overseen the operations of the country's largest Hallmark chain, which encompasses over 120 stores across a dozen states. In this capacity, Ms. Burke supervises human resources, commercial real estate, and the purchasing team responsible for all product acquisitions. Her responsibilities also extend to reviewing and approving product selection, managing purchasing for all locations and overseeing the marketing, warehouse and logistics teams. Additionally, Ms. Burke coordinates product assortment and in-store presentation through her team while also managing real estate matters and lease reviews.

Before her current role, Ms. Burke was the Chief Administrative Officer at Little Green Apple from 2023 to 2025. During this period, she played a pivotal role in doubling the company's store count from 65 locations, a milestone that stands as one of her most significant professional achievements. Ms. Burke's leadership was instrumental in scaling operations and optimizing internal processes to support rapid growth. From 2022 to 2023, she excelled as the company's Chief Human Resources Officer.

Before joining Little Green Apple, Ms. Burke served as the Director of Human Resources & Operations for the City of Oak Park, Michigan, from 2020 to 2022. There, she managed all aspects of human resources and operational functions for the municipal government, demonstrating her expertise in labor relations and contract negotiation. Between 2016 and 2020, Ms. Burke was the Human Resources Manager and founding member of the Human Resources Department for Chesterfield Township, Michigan.

Ms. Burke's earlier experience included her role as a Human Resources Generalist at Global Enterprises from 2015 to 2016, following her position as a Services Coordinator at Kelly Services Inc., beginning in 2013. She also worked as a Patient Business Services Representative at St. John Hospital and Medical Center (now Henry Ford St. John Hospital) between 2012 and 2013.

Highly educated, Ms. Burke holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Wayne State University in Detroit, completed in 2014. She also earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a Concentration in Human Resources from Claremont Lincoln University in Claremont, California, in 2020. Ms. Burke's commitment to professional development is further reflected in numerous designations, including as a Certified Labor Relations Leader (CLRL), a Mental Health First Aid Certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, a Certified Lean Practitioner (CLP) from SSGI and a Certified Negotiation Professional (CNP) from SkillFront. Additionally, she received Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification through SSGI.

Ms. Burke has demonstrated civic commitment through service as a missionary with Kensington Community Church, through volunteer work as a greeter with Woodside Bible Church, and through lifetime membership in the Delta Zeta sorority. A notable highlight has been her appointment by the Macomb County Board of Commissioners to the Macomb County Community Mental Health Board of Directors in 2019, a role she continues to hold. Serving as a board member and Chairperson of the Personnel Committee since her appointment has been a source of immense pride for her. Ms. Burke's involvement is deeply personal due to family experiences with addiction, fueling her commitment to supporting individuals affected by substance use disorders, developmental disabilities and autism. Through this work, she has witnessed firsthand the dedication of mental health professionals and found fulfillment in supporting their mission.
