DENHAM SPRINGS, LA, May 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gabriella Thomas has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Thomas currently serves as president of Iris Partners Inc., an outsourced sales and marketing firm based in Baton Rouge. Since founding the company in May 2022, she has overseen a team of 25 to 30 employees, including herself, and has maintained a longstanding partnership with AT&T since 2019. In her leadership role, Ms. Thomas is responsible for running meetings, managing her team, defining sales territories and engaging with the client broker who communicates directly with AT&T. She is dedicated to boosting sales team performance to achieve targets, instructing staff on effective sales techniques and team management and coaching senior representatives to become strong leaders. Under her guidance, Iris Partners Inc. has received accreditation from the Better Business Bureau and achieved significant milestones, including generating just over $1.4 million in revenue in 2025. Among her proudest accomplishments is promoting two individuals within her organization to management roles.
Before establishing Iris Partners Inc., Ms. Thomas worked for CMI Associates in Columbia, SC where she served as an assistant manager from 2021 to 2022. In this capacity, she communicated with clients, developed expertise in territory management and managed higher-level planning. One of her responsibilities was selecting a market and client, which ultimately led to the opportunity to open her own office.
Ms. Thomas began her professional journey in Chicago, IL in 2019 as a sales representative, where she learned to conduct sales interviews, hire and train employees and build a team of 10+ representatives while consistently meeting production standards. Her early success in this role set the foundation for her advancement into management.
Before entering the sales industry, Ms. Thomas gained research experience as a research assistant at The Kreitman Lab at The University of Chicago from 2016 to 2019. She also served as a research assistant at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston in 2016, where she contributed to scientific projects and developed analytical skills.
Her earliest work experiences include serving as a team member at Jamba Juice in The Woodlands from 2014 to 2015 and at Parker School Uniforms LLC in Spring in 2014.
Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology with a specialization in genetics from the University of Chicago in 2019. Her academic background provided a strong foundation for her initial interest in genetic counseling, where communication skills are essential for delivering complex information to diverse audiences. Advised that proficiency in communication would be critical for success in genetic counseling, she explored career paths that would further develop these abilities. Sales emerged as an appealing option, leading her to begin working in the field in 2019. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, Ms. Thomas chose not to transition to online schooling and instead found fulfillment in continuing her work, supported by client brokers and clients alike.
Throughout her career, Ms. Thomas has credited her achievements to a strong work ethic and an ability to delegate responsibilities effectively. As a manager, she excels at empowering colleagues to take initiative and assume leadership roles within the organization.
Ms. Thomas's commitment extends beyond her professional pursuits into civic engagement and community service. Since 2013, she has volunteered with Catholic HEART Workcamp and participated in mission trips focused on service projects. She has also contributed time to the Houston Food Bank from 2011 to 2014 and supported battered women's shelters through food donations and various charity events organized by Iris Partners Inc.
During her academic years at The University of Chicago, Ms. Thomas served as captain and social chair of the women's rugby team from 2016 to 2019, participated in the Modus Vivendi Society in 2016, and was involved with the Chicago Academic Achievement Program in 2015.
Her professional excellence has been recognized through several awards, including being named among the Top 10 Sales Representatives in the Country, receiving an award for most sales in a day and earning production recognition honors.
Born in Houston, Ms. Thomas enjoys doing puzzles and playing games such as Sudoku and New York Times Games like Wordle and Connections during her personal time.
Looking ahead, Ms. Thomas plans to advance her business by becoming a consultant, promoting first-generation managers within her organization and expanding operations to nine offices overall. She aims for continued growth by achieving higher production goals while preparing for an eventual relocation back to Houston by transferring leadership of her Baton Rouge office before opening a new location there.
