ALPHARETTA, GA, May 07, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ali Barodawala has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With three decades of progressive leadership in enterprise technology, Mr. Barodawala has established himself as a leading authority on large-scale digital transformation, AI-enabled product innovation, and operating model modernization for Fortune 100 organizations. Anchored by an extensive tenure at The Coca-Cola Company, his career reflects a sustained record of commercial impact and value creation, and the global digital, data, and AI capabilities that define a modern, product-led enterprise. He is widely regarded as a trusted advisor to the C-suite on digital strategy, technology investment, value realization, and operating model design.
As vice president of customer and commercial technologies at The Coca-Cola Company since March 2025, Mr. Barodawala leads the company's global digital product and platform portfolio across the customer and commercial domain. He directs a global product and engineering organization and owns the end-to-end product lifecycle — strategy, roadmap, engineering delivery, adoption, and value realization — across pricing, trade promotion, suggested ordering, business-to-business franchise applications, cold drink equipment placement, Internet of Things connectivity, and AI-driven personalization. As a strategic partner to the chief commercial officer, operating unit franchise leaders, and bottlers worldwide, he aligns digital capability with local market dynamics and the priorities of the broader Coca-Cola system.
Concurrently, from mid-2024 through early 2025, Mr. Barodawala served as interim vice president of emerging technology, co-leading Create Real Magic — Coca-Cola's flagship generative AI consumer campaign and one of the most successful brand activations in the company's 140-year history. He also established the enterprise governance framework that now guides AI adoption across Coca-Cola, ensuring generative and agentic AI investments translate into measurable business outcomes.
Earlier, as vice president of strategy and operations from 2022 to 2025, Mr. Barodawala co-developed the enterprise digital strategy and long-range roadmap as a strategic partner to the chief information officer. He negotiated global technology investments with partners including Microsoft and SAP, governed the enterprise digital portfolio across digital products and platforms, and led the company's transition from a project-based delivery model to a domain-aligned, product-led operating model — an undertaking he regards as among the most consequential of his career. He also led the integration of Global Ventures (Costa Coffee and Innocent Drinks) cybersecurity and infrastructure services into the parent enterprise.
Across earlier roles at Coca-Cola, Mr. Barodawala built much of the digital foundation he leads today. As senior director of revenue growth management (2021–2022), he consolidated the company's core commercial capabilities — revenue growth management, in-market execution, route to market, and segmentation — into a single Integrated Execution Framework deployed through persistent, domain-aligned teams. As senior director of application engineering, AI, and process automation (2018–2021), he scaled the enterprise data, AI, and platform engineering capabilities underpinning Coca-Cola's modern digital estate, established the company's Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD operating models, and helped stand up the Regional Delivery Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. As director of business insights and analytics (2016–2018), he architected Coca-Cola's first cloud-based data and analytics product, unlocking AI and machine learning use cases across the global system. He originally joined Coca-Cola in 2009 as a lead solution architect, leading legacy platform modernization and building a modern data platform that remains the enterprise system of record today.
From 2012 to 2016, Mr. Barodawala served as senior manager of data and analytics at Ernst & Young LLP in Atlanta, where he led a multi-year global transformation of the Assurance service line. Within EY's information management advisory practice, he directed a 185-person global cross-functional team across data, engineering, and analytics, and implemented one of the firm's largest enterprise data platforms — exceeding 65 petabytes and serving more than 100,000 users. Earlier, he held lead solution architect roles at Skylight Financial (2008–2009), Agilex Technologies in support of Sprint-Nextel (2005–2008), and Kimberly-Clark Corporation (2001–2005), following consulting roles with Open Systems Inc. and in manufacturing technology.
Mr. Barodawala holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, which he earned in 1996. The college's distinctive one-course-at-a-time curriculum fostered a focused, immersive approach to learning that he credits with shaping his ability to navigate complex, ambiguous problems throughout his career. He is also a TOGAF 9.1 Level 1 and Level 2 certified enterprise architect.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr. Barodawala is a committed civic contributor whose volunteerism reflects a deep belief in human dignity and economic opportunity. Through partner community organizations, he supports refugee resettlement in metropolitan Atlanta, makes regular contributions to local food banks, and provides direct, year-round assistance to families in transition — often coordinating financial support and essential resources during major holidays. He also gives internationally, supporting vetted humanitarian and food-security initiatives that prioritize transparency and direct impact on vulnerable communities. His civic engagement is complemented by his membership in the Atlanta National Golf Club, where he values the relationships and community the game fosters.
Mr. Barodawala lives in the Atlanta area with his wife, Aliya, and their children, Yasha and Yusuf. He attributes his professional trajectory to adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and an enduring commitment to leaving every organization stronger than he found it. A people-first leader, he places exceptional emphasis on the well-being of the teams he builds and the durability of the relationships he cultivates. Looking ahead, he intends to broaden his impact by shaping the enterprise digital agenda of a global organization at the intersection of strategy, AI, and digital transformation — while continuing to expand his civic footprint and invest in the next generation of technology leaders.
