ST. THOMAS, VIRGIN ISLANDS, May 11, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicole Kamaleson has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Kamaleson's distinguished career in executive search, human capital development, and global social impact is marked by a series of influential leadership roles and a steadfast commitment to connecting talent with purpose-driven organizations. Since 2012, she has served as a leader in the global executive search industry. Currently serving as a managing director of social impact at DSG Global LLC (formerly Koya Partners), she leads executive searches at the board, CEO, C-suite and country-director levels for mission-driven organizations across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Drawing on more than two decades of international experience, Ms. Kamaleson identifies transformative leaders for clients working in social impact, philanthropy, impact investing, international NGOs, human rights, sustainability and ESG. Known for prioritizing transformation over transactional placements, she is celebrated for connecting the right individuals with the right opportunities – an achievement she considers central to her professional legacy.

Coming summer 2026, Ms. Kamaleson will release her debut memoir, "Between the Bookends: Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells the Story?", a deeply personal narrative that traces themes of identity, love, grief and transformation across four continents. The book is bracketed by two defining events: discovering her true heritage after two decades of secrecy regarding her African American identity and navigating profound loss following the tragic death of her husband while he worked on microfinance initiatives to empower women suffering under Taliban oppression. Together, these bookends frame a life of cross-cultural resilience, faith and purpose.

Beyond executive search, Ms. Kamaleson is a founding partner of Arcus Development, a global consulting group established in 2009, which advises on board and CEO transitions, governance, and organizational development for "for-purpose" enterprises worldwide. A sought-after speaker and consultant, she has been invited to present at venues – including the Maxwell School's Transnational NGO Initiative at Syracuse University, Ronald McDonald House's Global Leadership Conference, the Global Impact Investing Network's (GIIN) Investor Forum and Mission Investors Exchange (MIE) Institute – and has served as an adjunct professor at Eastern University on performance management. In January 2026, she delivered a keynote, "Reason for Being," at the North American Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Leadership Academy in Puerto Rico, drawing on the Japanese Ikigai framework to help women business owners align purpose with enterprise.

Ms. Kamaleson also brings a deep passion to restoring historic homes around the world. Her current project, Seven Arches, is a landmark property in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, where she now resides, overlooking Magens Bay. Earlier restorations include a residence in the heart of Transylvania, Romania; a historic home in Díosd, a heritage village outside Budapest, Hungary; and a turn-of-the-century row house in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Each project reflects her commitment to architectural heritage and cross-cultural living.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Kamaleson earned a master's degree in human resource development from Azusa Pacific University in 1993. She also holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in marketing, from the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota and completed executive education in governing for nonprofit excellence at Harvard Business School. She remains active in Govern for Impact's global network and the Policy Governance model developed by John and Miriam Carver.

Reflecting on her storied international journey to date, Ms. Kamaleson attributes her success to self-motivation rooted in faith and purpose, habits of meditation and prayer, and a lifelong commitment to personal growth. These qualities have guided her through international assignments, including six years working in Romania and Kenya, followed by four years in Budapest and a year in London before returning to the U.S., and have always encouraged her children and grandchildren to pursue their own aspirations.

Also known for her civic-minded endeavors alongside her primary roles, Ms. Kamaleson has served on the board of directors of ChildFund International, contributing strategic insight into child welfare initiatives worldwide. She joined the board of RefuSHE in 2022, supporting programs that empower refugee women and girls, and from 2017 to 2025, served on the board of Global Fund for Children, advancing opportunities for vulnerable youth globally. In honor of her longstanding influence as a mentor and advocate for women in leadership and collaboration, she received leadership recognition from Women Empowering Women in 2024.

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in South Dakota, Ms. Kamaleson gained resilience and curiosity about the world during her upbringing, a foundation that would later support the two decades she spent traveling internationally with her family. Though her career counts many milestones, she is most proud of raising her three sons, who, as a family, made this cross-cultural journey.

Renowned as a leader in global social impact, executive search and organizational transformation, Ms. Kamaleson continues to inspire others through thoughtful leadership, advocacy, and unwavering dedication to connecting people with opportunities that allow them and their communities alike to flourish.
