WALNUT CREEK, CA, May 11, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Enny T. Gibson, MA (Master of Accounting), has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Gibson's career is distinguished by her expertise in strategic transformation, a discipline she has mastered through a series of progressively complex roles across multiple sectors and continents. In 2019, she established herself as a fractional chief financial officer and controller at EnAccSyst in Northern California, a role she continues to hold alongside freelance consulting engagements under the same title. Her responsibilities include managing client and leadership communications, analyzing financial details to assess organizational positions, drafting reports for boards of directors or management teams, creating comprehensive training materials, and developing or reviewing internal control procedures. Among other tasks, Ms. Gibson is tasked with implementing protections for businesses undergoing transformation and allocating discretionary time to client outreach or industry events when project deliverables are complete.

Over the past few years, Ms. Gibson's practice has evolved from serving primarily nonprofit clients to maintaining a balanced portfolio split evenly between nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Her recent work focuses on providing technical assistance for complex implementations of the Accounting Standards Codification, specifically ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases), among others and leveraging advanced automation tools such as artificial intelligence-driven integrations and sophisticated financial modeling.

Ms. Gibson also served as a controller at Joybound in Walnut Creek from 2024 to 2025 and served as accounting senior manager with CBIZ Inc from 2025 to 2026 while participating in the BILL Accountant Partner Program beginning in 2025. Since 2010, she has provided independent QuickBooks, BILL, and Sage Intacct consulting services through EnAccSyst and freelance engagements.

Ms. Gibson's professional journey began in Venezuela, launching her career as an accounting manager at Venezolana de Montajes Electromecanicos (Vedemeca) in 2004. In this role, she quickly demonstrated her technical acumen and adaptability, which would become hallmarks of her career. Recognizing the shifting political climate in Venezuela, Ms. Gibson leveraged her English proficiency and her employer's ties to the U.S. to secure an inventory assignment in Florida with S. Davis & Associates, PA, and DTA Professional Solutions. What began as a six-month project evolved into a five-year tenure from 2005 to 2010, during which she served as accounting manager and audit professional. This period marked her first major personal and professional transformation, as she immersed herself in American business practices while pursuing further education.

In 2010, Ms. Gibson relocated to Northern California, accepting a position as an accounting supervisor and external auditor at Odenberg, Ullakko, Muranishi & Co. LLP (now Withum Smith+Brown PC). Her expertise led to a consulting engagement as a senior accountant with Redwood Mortgage in 2013 before joining BDO USA PC as a senior external auditor from 2013 to 2015. At BDO, Ms. Gibson deepened her specialization in auditing biotech, technology, and both public and private entities, with particular emphasis on Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements.

Seeking greater balance between professional demands and family life, Ms. Gibson transitioned to Gymboree Corporation (now owned by The Children's Place Inc.) as a senior internal auditor from 2015 to 2017. As a dedicated mother actively involved in her son's academic and athletic activities, Ms. Gibson has intentionally shaped her career around creating sustainable success both professionally and personally. She then joined Easterseals Northern California (now Catalight) as an accounting lead until 2019. She played a pivotal role in restructuring the accounting team to support the organization's transformation and growth from $30 million to $300 million in revenue. Promoted three times during her tenure, Ms. Gibson became a key technical bridge between auditors, controllers and chief financial officers, managing complex technical memos and supporting business transformations that strengthened her reputation as a trusted strategic consultant.

A defining accomplishment that set the trajectory for Ms. Gibson's entire career was her first system implementation for her mother's business in 2006. Tasked with digitizing operations using QuickBooks Desktop software, she taught herself the system through intuitive exploration rather than relying on generic training resources. By immersing herself in employee workflows and applying auditing principles learned during her studies in Venezuela, Ms. Gibson built a robust system tailored specifically to the company's needs.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Universidad Católica del Táchira in Venezuela, Ms. Gibson completed an internship and passed the certified public accountant exam. She later completed intensive English programs at Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University, followed by passing the TOEFL and GMAT. From there, Ms. Gibson earned a Master of Accounting from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, in 2009. She is also a graduate of Leadership Contra Costa through the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau since 2025, an intensive nine-month program designed to expose C-level executives to critical infrastructure supporting Contra Costa County's ecosystem.

Ms. Gibson's commitment extends beyond professional pursuits into civic leadership and community engagement. She is an active participant with the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, leveraging networking events such as Business and Social Hours to foster local business connections, and serves as the secretary and taxpayer representative on the Citizens' Bond Oversight committee for the Walnut Creek School District. In this capacity, Ms. Gibson ensures transparency around major school bonds totaling nearly $200 million.

Additionally, Ms. Gibson sits on the board of directors for Friends of Camp Concord, a nonprofit enabling underserved children to attend summer camp at Lake Tahoe, and volunteers with their annual golf tournament alongside prominent community figures such as ABC News anchor Dan Ashley. She is also involved with Family Justice Centers, Save Mount Diablo and Girls on the Run International through membership on the Diablo Multisport Connection (DMC) Team, an all-women athletic community empowering women through cycling, running and swimming.

Throughout her career, Ms. Gibson has been widely recognized by clients and colleagues for her solution-oriented leadership, collaborative approach and ability to navigate complex challenges with optimism and resilience. Her leadership has been recognized through several honors, including nomination to Leadership Contra Costa Class of 2025, a distinction mostly reserved for those nominated by community members, and special recognition as Powerhouse of Fundraising by the DMC Team after stepping up during a mid-term vacancy to lead successful fundraising initiatives.

Looking ahead, Ms. Gibson remains committed to living by the philosophy of waking up every day, loving what she does by remaining committed to building a career centered on purpose, sustainable growth and meaningful impact. Her primary objective is to spend most of her time on aspects of work that bring fulfillment while empowering other business owners to do likewise by relieving them of financial burdens so they can focus on their true callings. Ms. Gibson aims not only for personal growth but also seeks to contribute meaningfully to economic resilience by helping businesses thrive sustainably without sacrificing family or personal passions.
