As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Haugen has established a distinguished career in information technology and technical project management, marked by a steady progression into increasingly responsible leadership roles. Since 2023, he has served as a Technical Project Manager at Scale Technology Group Inc., overseeing operations and managing projects from initiation through completion. In this capacity, he ensures engineering teams meet technical requirements, tracks project progress, provides guidance on complex issues, coordinates meetings, and develops Gantt charts for large-scale initiatives. His expertise is sought by large, multinational organizations for network and systems administration, as well as for in-depth consultation on wide-area and local-area network configurations and strategy. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering robust, scalable network solutions tailored to client requirements.

From 2021 to 2023, Mr. Haugen served as a technical project manager at C3 Technology Advisors. There, he managed diverse technology projects, coordinated cross-functional teams and maintained high client satisfaction standards. His tenure was defined by his ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable plans, ensuring seamless execution across all phases of project delivery.

Between 2017 and 2021, Mr. Haugen contributed to Nucraft Furniture as a network administrator. He was responsible for maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, implementing security protocols and supporting end users with technical challenges. His role evolved from an initial position as an information technology intern in 2017, during which he gained hands-on experience in system maintenance and troubleshooting. Mr. Haugen's professional journey began at Grand Rapids Community College, where he worked in several capacities from 2014 to 2017. In 2015, as an information technology helpdesk technician, he provided frontline support to students and staff, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently. He advanced to academic support services in information technology and security from 2014 to 2016, where he tutored peers—many of whom were older than himself—and earned recognition for his teaching abilities. From 2016 to 2017, he served as an information technology desktop support, further honing his skills in user support and network administration.

In addition to his formal employment, Mr. Haugen has offered private tutoring since 2010, sharing his expertise in network administration and technical project management with individuals seeking to advance their knowledge.

A highlight of Mr. Haugen's career has been his leadership of a modernization initiative for a large U.S.-based enterprise operating across multiple sectors over several years. Overseeing infrastructure supporting multibillion-dollar investments, he directed the comprehensive transformation of the organization's data center environment, the migration from legacy telephony systems to modern cloud-based solutions, and the enhancement of network connectivity across hundreds of locations nationwide. Working in coordination with leading telecommunications providers, he also guided the implementation of a hybrid fiber-coaxial architecture to improve reliability and the deployment of a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform to enable centralized, secure network management.

Mr. Haugen's academic achievements have been foundational to his professional success. He graduated summa cum laude from Ferris State University in Big Rapids with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology Systems Administration and Security (CIT-SAS) in 2018, earning Dean's List honors for outstanding academic performance. He previously completed an Associate of Applied Arts in Network and System Administration at Grand Rapids Community College in 2016. His academic journey began at Hudsonville High School in Hudsonville, where he graduated in 2014. His academic journey was influenced by distinctive opportunities at Hudsonville High School, where faculty—among them principal Dave Feenstra and staff —recognized his strong aptitude for technology. With encouragement from curriculum leaders and support from the school's faculty and staff, Mr. Haugen completed 36 college credit hours prior to graduating. This early advantage positioned him for continued academic and professional success at Grand Rapids Community College.

Mr. Haugen holds numerous industry certifications that underscore his expertise, including a CompTIA Network of Experts contributor; Area 1 101: Introduction to Cloudflare Area 1; ZT 101: Introduction to Cloudflare Zero Trust; and Cloudflare Accredited Sales Professional Levels I and II. He also holds a number of healthcare-related certifications, including Responding to Emergencies First Aid from American Red Cross; and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers from American Red Cross.

When asked about mentors and leaders who inspired him throughout his career, Mr. Haugen named Mrs. Joy Essenburg of Hudsonville High School, who recognized his passion for community service. He mentioned that her mentorship was pivotal during his formative years. Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Haugen is committed to civic engagement and volunteerism. Since graduating in 2014, he has provided pro bono computer repair services to individuals unable to afford commercial assistance, restoring systems and replacing hardware as needed. From 2013 to 2015, while still a high school student, he designed and managed the website for Resilience (formerly the Center for Women in Transition), Advocates for Ending Violence through the Lakeshore Alliance Against Domestic and Sexual Assault; this contribution was met with heartfelt appreciation from the organization.

He has also volunteered with Blackall Racing alongside Janet and Tony Blackall, supporting military veterans coping with post-traumatic stress disorder and depression since 2016 by aiding their reintegration into civilian life. Although he previously managed their website, which was recently discontinued due to organizational changes, his calm demeanor continues to make him a valued resource within the community.

Mr. Haugen's dedication has been recognized through several prestigious awards. He is a two-time recipient of the Tutor of the Year Award (Michael Flanagan Tutorial Scholarship) from Grand Rapids Community College—one of only two individuals ever honored in consecutive years—and was also awarded the Citizenship Award from Hudsonville High School, an honor bestowed upon a select few students since the school's founding in 1963. This distinction recognizes exemplary character, leadership, and a sustained commitment to service within both the school and the broader community.

Born in Hudsonville, Mr. Haugen remains dedicated to advancing both professionally and personally.
