In this role, he oversaw Chevron's non-operated portfolio across major projects in China, the United Kingdom, Canada, Kazakhstan, Argentina, and Brazil. He led cross-functional teams, ensured safe and efficient execution, and strengthened partnerships with global operators. A highlight of this period was the successful collaboration with PetroChina, where Mr. Brignoli and his team delivered complex high-pressure and sour gas projects on schedule and without incidents, earning PetroChina's prestigious "Best Project" award.

From 2018 to 2023, Mr. Brignoli served as manager of performance for Africa and the Middle East, based in Angola, where he led business planning, new ventures, and partnership development across the region. Earlier, as business development manager for Latin America (2016–2018), he focused on strategic growth initiatives across multiple countries. He also held a project management role in Thailand (2014–2016), where he applied his technical expertise to drive operational excellence.

Mr. Brignoli began his energy career at TotalEnergies, where he held a series of engineering leadership roles from 2005 to 2014, including engineering manager and team leader for high-pressure/high-temperature and deepwater drilling operations. His early career as a civil engineer included projects across Morocco, France, and the West Indies.

Throughout his career, Mr. Brignoli has developed deep expertise in well integrity, drilling systems, high-risk operations, deepwater environments, and sour gas projects. He is widely recognized for delivering safe, reliable operations while maintaining strong performance standards.

He is an active member of professional organizations, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers and leading European civil engineering associations.

Mr. Brignoli holds a Master of Science in petroleum engineering and project development from IFP School (France) and a master's degree in civil engineering from ESTP Paris. He also completed an executive development program at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business, focused on leadership, finance, and strategy.

A strong advocate for mentorship, Mr. Brignoli both benefited from and contributes to mentoring throughout his career, supporting the development of emerging professionals. Fluent in French, Portuguese, Spanish, and English, he has worked across 13 countries, enabling him to operate effectively in diverse and multicultural environments.
