Mr. Hall has established a distinguished career in athletics and education, currently serving as head football coach and athletic director at Solon High School in Solon, Ohio, since 2026. In this capacity, he has demonstrated a commitment to fostering both athletic excellence and academic achievement among student-athletes. His leadership is marked by a focus on holistic development, emphasizing discipline, teamwork and personal growth.
In addition to his responsibilities at Solon High School, Mr. Hall is also a partner and owner of Fedora Football/Local Team Shop, a role he has held since 2025. This entrepreneurial venture reflects his dedication to supporting local sports communities and providing resources for athletes and teams.
From 2025 to 2026, Mr. Hall served as coordinator of district partnerships and student development for the Canton City School District. In this position, he was instrumental in building collaborative relationships between the district and external organizations, enhancing opportunities for students' academic and personal development.
Previously, Mr. Hall served as the interim head football coach in 2021 and head football coach from 2022 to 2024, as well as the athletic director from 2020 to 2024 at Canton McKinley High School. During his tenure, he achieved what he considers his most significant accomplishment: transforming the football program's academic performance. When he assumed leadership, the team's average grade point average was just 1.8. Through strategic initiatives focused on shifting attitudes, instilling a growth mindset and prioritizing academics, he raised the team's grade point average to 3.1 within approximately sixteen months. Before his departure, the team reached an average grade point average of 3.28, a testament to his ability to inspire lasting change. The team won the Federal League Championship in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Mr. Hall's earlier experience includes serving as assistant athletic director, assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at St. Thomas Aquinas from 2019 to 2020; run game coordinator and offensive line coach at GlenOak High School in 2019; T.I.P. coordinator CDCA at Lenzy Family Institute from 2017 to 2019; educator, assistant football coach and strength coach at Canton McKinley High School from 2017 to 2019; intervention specialist assistant as well as football and basketball coach with Plain Local School District in Canton from 2016 to 2017.
Before transitioning into education and coaching, Mr. Hall enjoyed a notable professional football career spanning approximately seven and a half years. He played one season in the National Football League with the Indianapolis Colts before an injury led to back surgery and a year-and-a-half recovery period. He then competed for six and a half years in the Canadian Football League with teams including the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club from 2010 to 2011, the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club Inc. from 2005 to 2007 and again from 2009 to 2010, and the Calgary Stampeders Football Club from 2008 to 2009. Among his achievements was being part of the Grey Cup-winning team in Calgary in 2008—the Canadian equivalent of the Super Bowl—and returning to the Grey Cup final the following year.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hall has earned national recognition as one of the top athletes in the United States. He has been chairperson of the National High School Football Hall of Fame since 2024 and has served on the board of directors of CommQuest Services Inc. since 2018. He is also recognized as a member of the USA Today National Championship Team.
Mr. Hall's educational background includes earning a Master of Education in educational leadership and administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2024. He previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in history at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, in 2015. Certifications complement his academic credentials as a distinguished educator, a football coach and a former elite student-athlete.
His achievements have been recognized through numerous awards, including All-Ohio and All-American honors, First Team All-SEC in 2002 and 2003, key contributor status on two state championship teams, membership on the USA Today National Championship team at Canton McKinley HS, participation on a Grey Cup championship team, District Coach of the Year distinction and receipt of the The Paul Brown Visionary award from the National High School Football Hall of Fame.
Mr. Hall attributes his success to his faith, which has guided him through both triumphs and challenges, keeping him humble and focused on his purpose. He also credits his family for their influence—particularly his cousin Ronnie Harris, an Olympic gold medalist boxer who instilled a strong work ethic and positive mindset early on, and his grandfather, Walter Hall, whose basketball legacy remains celebrated locally.
Born in Canton, Mr. Hall values time spent with family alongside interests such as music. Supported by his spouse, Jennifer Hall, and his three sons (Nikolas, Noah, and Antonio Jr.), he remains dedicated to restoring his football program's competitiveness and respectability while positively impacting every young person he encounters—whether they pursue college athletics or other paths beyond sports—by equipping them with discipline, rigor and foundational skills for future success.
