LAWRENCEBURG, TN, May 26, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael J. Labieniec has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Labieniec currently serves as a senior director at Oracle, a role he has held since 2022, where he leads engineering initiatives at one of the world's foremost technology companies. Among his recent contributions is his work on Oracle APEX, including the newly launched APEXlang project, which is gaining meaningful traction in the developer community. His tenure at Oracle builds on more than twenty-five years of experience architecting cloud, serverless, and multi-tenant platforms, and is marked by a commitment to innovation and disciplined execution.

Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Labieniec spent eight years at Amazon, from 2014 to 2022, where he served as a senior manager and led the engineering organization behind AWS Amplify, an Amazon Web Services product relied upon by hundreds of thousands of developers worldwide to build full-stack web and mobile applications. He stewarded Amplify from its earliest stages through significant growth and adoption, and regards building and scaling the organization around it as the most consequential professional accomplishment of his career to date. During the latter years of his Amazon tenure, he also led two computer science bootcamps in partnership with the University of Connecticut, mentoring students who have since stepped into senior engineering roles at Amazon and founded their own technology ventures as chief technology officers, an investment in the next generation of engineers he counts among the most meaningful work of that chapter. His tenure at AWS reinforced a long-held philosophy of learning from setbacks and viewing every challenge as an opportunity for growth.

Earlier, Mr. Labieniec held an equity position at OrderGroove, where he helped shape product direction and growth strategy, and founded and led Snapwire, a startup that partnered with BMW Group to develop Park Now, among the first parking applications of its kind. The project involved deep collaboration with engineers at BMW's Munich headquarters, secured several million dollars in venture funding, and culminated in BMW Group acquiring the business, a milestone reflecting his ability to execute complex projects on an international scale. His entrepreneurial path began even earlier: at twenty-six, he founded Green Arrow Interactive, a Connecticut-based interactive agency that raised $250,000 in angel funding and served leading insurance and financial services clients. The company was acquired shortly thereafter, and at twenty-seven he became vice president of engineering at the acquiring firm in Hartford. In 2005, he was awarded a provisional patent for one of the earliest mobile-to-web video streaming platforms, predating much of the live-streaming wave that followed.

Born in New Britain, Mr. Labieniec completed college coursework in computer science and attributes his trajectory to a faith-grounded worldview and an intrinsic passion for continuous learning. He draws inspiration from Scripture as well as from thought leaders such as Daniel H. Pink, whose emphasis on mastery, autonomy, and purpose resonates with his approach to work and life. A classically trained pianist since the age of nine, Mr. Labieniec performed in a touring band signed to a record label in the early 2000s, an experience that continues to shape how he leads engineering organizations. He often describes a great team the way he describes a great band: a cohesive creative project in which the leader sets the vision and writes the song, but every contributor writes their own parts, draws their own intrinsic motivation from the work, and adds to a sound larger than any one voice. Today he plays as a member of his church's worship team, an expression of the faith that anchors every other part of his life.

Family is at the center of Mr. Labieniec's story. He and his wife, Sarah, raise and homeschool twelve children on a thirteen-acre homestead in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, where the family stewards a small dairy and livestock operation rooted in self-sufficiency and biblically grounded living. He is the founder of Forage Healing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing natural healing, herbalism, and whole-food wellness as pathways to lasting health, and is building Forage Academy, an educational program under the foundation that integrates faith, classical learning, and stewardship of the land. He also volunteers at a local food pantry.

Looking ahead, Mr. Labieniec intends to continue advancing within Oracle, and expand Forage Healing Foundation so that its work can serve families and communities for generations. Above all, he is dedicated to building a faith-rooted legacy for his children, ensuring their security, purpose, and wellbeing for the long term.
