As an assistant vice president for anti-money laundering optimization statistician at Citi from 2015 to 2016, he developed AI tools to strengthen anti-money laundering controls and sanctions compliance. His work included building systems to monitor U.S. government sanctions lists and designing text-matching algorithms to detect individuals attempting to evade restrictions through aliases or impersonation. These initiatives supported efforts to prevent illicit transactions involving sanctioned entities, including those in Latin America, North Korea and Iran.

From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Munjuluru served as a statistical consultant for Cognilytics at CenturyLink, where he provided analytical expertise for large-scale data projects in telecommunications. Earlier in his career, he was an assistant systems engineer at TATA Consultancy Services Limited from 2012 to 2013, contributing to software development initiatives for global clients.

Mr. Munjuluru's academic background has been instrumental in shaping his career trajectory. He earned a Master of Science in business analytics from Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati in 2014, equipping him with advanced skills in quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making. He also holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management in India, completed in 2012.

Complementing his formal education, Mr. Munjuluru's commitment to professional development is demonstrated by several industry certifications, including certification in Cogito Data Model from Epic Systems Corporation, awarded in 2020; Clarity Data Model - ASAP certification from Epic Systems Corporation, received in 2017; and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS Institute Inc. His professional standing is further reflected in his recognition as a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, beginning in 2024.
