Mr. Sepúlveda currently serves as chief strategy officer at BIOSYNEX SA, a French-based diagnostic company, where he has played a pivotal role since 2024 following the company's acquisition of several United States-based diagnostic businesses, including Chembio Diagnostics. In his role, he is responsible for shaping corporate strategy, overseeing commercial initiatives and driving business development efforts across the organization. He also serves on the board of directors for Chembio Diagnostics Inc., providing strategic guidance and governance for the United States entity.

Prior to joining BIOSYNEX, Mr. Sepúlveda served as senior vice president of commercial North America at LumiraDx, now part of Roche, where he led commercial operations and market expansion efforts throughout North America.

Earlier, he held executive leadership roles at Mesa Biotech, Sekisui Diagnostics and other leading diagnostic organizations, specializing in business development, strategic partnerships, commercialization and channel management. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a key role in the deployment of one of the first molecular point-of-care COVID-19 tests developed by Mesa Biotech, helping expand access to rapid diagnostics during a global public health crisis.

Mr. Sepúlveda began his executive career at Quidel Corporation, where he was instrumental in the commercialization of the QUICKVUE Influenza A+B Test, recognized as one of the first rapid flu tests to significantly impact the point-of-care diagnostics market.

Throughout his more than three-decade career, Mr. Sepúlveda has developed expertise in commercial strategy, fundraising, international business development and building high-performing commercial organizations within the healthcare and diagnostics industries. He has also advised startup and growth-stage companies, several of which achieved successful strategic exits.

Mr. Sepúlveda attended the medical sciences program at Universidad de Puerto Rico. Initially interested in medicine, he ultimately built a distinguished career in diagnostics and healthcare commercialization, combining his scientific foundation with business leadership.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Sepúlveda has remained engaged in civic and industry organizations, including advisory roles within the healthcare sector and volunteer work with St. John's Episcopal Church in Tampa, Florida.

Born in New York City and raised in Puerto Rico, Mr. Sepúlveda is bilingual and values authentic relationships both professionally and personally. He is married to Lisa Sepúlveda and has three adult sons in their blended family. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, travel and dining with family and friends.
