LINCOLN, NE, June 01, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vianka Curiel has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Curiel has distinguished herself as a dynamic entrepreneur and community advocate in Lincoln, Nebraska. As co-owner of Crazy Fork since September 2025, she has demonstrated expertise in restaurant management and business development. The inception of Crazy Fork was a significant milestone, achieved in partnership with her uncle, Juan. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, Ms. Curiel managed the financial operations, licensing, procurement of ingredients and collaboration with local suppliers. She was also responsible for ensuring all documentation and requirements were finalized before presenting the restaurant to the public. Her uncle oversaw daily operations, while Ms. Curiel focused on strategic growth and community engagement.

The decision to open Crazy Fork was motivated by both necessity and ambition, as the building's rent obligations required swift action. Despite initial nerves, Ms. Curiel's determination led to the successful launch of a unique dining concept that diverged from her family's traditional Mexican cuisine. Instead, she curated a menu inspired by Midwestern staples, such as loaded baked potatoes, adapting offerings based on community feedback—much of which arrived through social media channels. Her commitment to innovation and responsiveness has been instrumental in establishing Crazy Fork's reputation. The restaurant's recognition in the Lincoln Journal Star stands as a testament to her entrepreneurial acumen.

Ms. Curiel has held the position of receptionist at McHenry Haszard Law since 2023, an experience that improves her English proficiency and provides insight into professional communication standards. She has also served as manager at Hacienda Jalisco since 2023. She previously managed Hacienda Real, one of her father's restaurant locations from 2015 to 2025, where she advanced from dishwasher and line cook to head cook and eventually front-of-house management positions, including hostess, waitress and bartender.

Ms. Curiel's career is also marked by active participation in industry-related organizations. She has been a member of the Mexican American Student Association for four years and engaged with both Mock Trial and Model United Nations programs during her academic tenure. These experiences fostered her skills in persuasion, public speaking and strategic collaboration—qualities that have proven invaluable in both business and civic endeavors.

Educationally, Ms. Curiel's achievements include earning a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in political science and government from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2026, with additional coursework in Spanish and a minor in Latin American studies. Her education provided a foundation for critical thinking and cross-cultural communication, supporting her professional pursuits and aspirations for future graduate study.

Reflecting on her career, Ms. Curiel attributes her success to unwavering family support and faith. The early days of Crazy Fork saw her working alongside her parents, uncle and younger sister. Her father's experience has been particularly influential as she explores expanding into catering services. Faith also remains central to Ms. Curiel's outlook; she credits her mother's steadfast belief in God as a source of strength throughout personal and professional challenges.

Outside her primary career work, civic engagement is integral to Ms. Curiel's identity. She has volunteered at various charity events through the Mexican American Student Association, including writing cards for retirement home residents during holidays. Her service extends to People City Mission, where she has helped serve food to those in need, as well as other initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable populations.

Ms. Curiel's accomplishments have been recognized through several outstanding witness awards earned during mock trial competitions—an activity that encouraged her to become more outgoing and confident in public settings. She is also credited with the project "A Tale of Two Dreams," reflecting her commitment to storytelling and advocacy.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Curiel enjoys sewing, redesigning jeans and creating small items that keep her hands busy. Family remains at the heart of her personal pursuits; she values time spent connecting with her younger siblings. Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a master's degree in global affairs or international relations—ideally studying abroad while living with family in Italy—and hopes to expand Crazy Fork to new locations based on customer interest. Through each endeavor, she remains dedicated to fostering community connections and honoring the sacrifices made by her family. She invites guests to enjoy a great meal in a warm, family-oriented atmosphere where every customer is treated like part of the family. She encourages visitors to connect with the staff and her uncle, whose storytelling and hospitality help create a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
