DTLA Art Night Celebrates Three Years and Announces Expansion to Grand Avenue

Downtown Los Angeles' leading cultural night expands through partnerships with The Broad, MOCA, and Grand Performances

LOS ANGELES, CA, June 02, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/
-- DTLA Art Night, Downtown Los Angeles' largest recurring monthly cultural event, will celebrate its three-year anniversary on Thursday, June 4, 2026, while officially announcing its expansion to the Grand Avenue Cultural District, marking a major new chapter for arts, culture, and community activation in Downtown Los Angeles.

The expansion connects DTLA Art Night's Historic Core footprint with some of Los Angeles' most celebrated cultural institutions, including The Broad, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), and Grand Performances, helping establish a more unified and walkable cultural corridor across Downtown Los Angeles.

For the past three years, DTLA Art Night has activated the Historic Core through galleries, artist showcases, live performances, nightlife, and neighborhood partnerships, drawing thousands of residents and visitors monthly to experience Downtown through art, culture, and community.

Now, through strategic partnerships and expanded programming, DTLA Art Night will broaden its reach to Grand Avenue — bringing together museums, hospitality destinations, public space, music, open-air markets, local businesses, food vendors, artists, and immersive cultural experiences in one connected Downtown ecosystem. As part of the expansion, NOE Restaurant & Bar at Omni Los Angeles Hotel joins DTLA Art Night as a participating hospitality destination, helping further connect Grand Avenue through food, culture, and community experiences.

A major anchor to the expansion is The Broad's presentation of Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind, on view from May 23 through October 11, 2026, offering visitors an extraordinary opportunity to experience the groundbreaking work of one of contemporary art's most influential voices. While this special exhibition is ticketed, free access is offered on Thursday evenings with advance reservations. MOCA offers free admission to current exhibitions, including Haegue Yang: Star-Crossed Rendezvous, Michael Asher and The Expanding Field, along with Talking Tours and art experiences.

Grand Performances further energizes Grand Avenue through DJs, cultural programming, performances, artisan vendors, and community activations throughout the season.

"Three years ago, DTLA Art Night started with a simple vision: bring people back together through art, culture, and shared experiences," said Michael Angelo DeLance, President of DTLA Art Night. "What began in the Historic Core has grown into something much bigger — a movement that connects artists, businesses, institutions, and community. Expanding to Grand Avenue allows us to create a more unified cultural experience for Downtown Los Angeles."

"Downtown Los Angeles is one of the great cultural centers in the world, and this expansion is about helping connect the people, places, and institutions that make it so special," said Dino Buiatti, Founder & CEO of DTLA Art Night. "By bringing together museums, independent artists, galleries, local businesses, public spaces, and community partners, DTLA Art Night is helping create something bigger than any one organization could build on its own."

Edward Patuto, Director of Audience Engagement at The Broad, added: "Over their many years involved in supporting the arts, it has always been Eli and Edye Broad's intention to support Downtown L.A. as THE cultural hub of Los Angeles. Bringing together arts organizations across the Grand Avenue Cultural District for monthly art nights demonstrates how the arts are the beating heart of a thriving DTLA, continuously drawing Angelenos to the center of it all."

"Grand Performances has always worked to bring music to the people through partnerships that connect communities and celebrate the many cultures that define Los Angeles. Collaborations like DTLA Art Night help extend our work beyond the stage and into the streets, plazas, galleries, and other gathering spaces that bring joy, creativity, and shared experiences to Angelenos throughout Downtown Los Angeles." – Rafael González, President & CEO, Grand Performances

"MOCA is thrilled to participate in DTLA Art Night," said Lisa Mark, MOCA's Chief of Public Engagement, Learning & Impact. "Having served as a cultural beacon on Grand Avenue for 40 years, presenting our exceptional collection for Angelenos to enjoy and take pride in, we look forward to welcoming our neighbors and guests to this very special event."

The June 4, 2026 DTLA Art Night Anniversary Celebration will include programming across the Historic Core and Grand Avenue, featuring:
