TOWSON, MD, June 03, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stanford G. Gann Sr. has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by his expertise and in family law, corporate estate planning and transaction, Mr. Gann has led a remarkable career spanning nearly 70 years in the legal profession. Since 1958, he has served as the founding and senior principal at Levin Gann PA, where his leadership and commitment to client satisfaction have been pivotal in the Maryland-based firm's continuous growth and longstanding reputation for integrity throughout Baltimore County and beyond.

Under Mr. Gann's guidance, Levin Gann PA has expanded through diligent practice development and a steadfast focus on meeting the needs of each and every client. The firm is now representing its fourth generation of clients, a milestone he regards as his most meaningful achievement.

Prior to founding Levin Gann PA, Mr. Gann served as an enlisted member in the 2nd Army Judge Advocate Division of the United States Military from 1955 to 1957 located at 2nd Army Headquarters at Fort Meade, Maryland. This experience contributed to his discipline, leadership acumen and sense of duty, all of which have defined his professional journey ever since.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Gann has also held significant roles within industry-related organizations, including serving as chairman of the Litigation Group, the Business Group and the Transaction Group. These leadership positions reflect his standing among peers as well as his influence within the legal community.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic foundation, Mr. Gann majored in political theory and history at the University of Maryland at College Park, Md. as well as being elected President of the local chapter of ZBT a National Fraternity founded in 1898. Thereafter, continuing his studies at the University of Maryland School of Law now known as the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. He successfully obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1955 while at the same time in his senior year was appointed by the Dean of the Law School, to serve as a clerk/intern for the US Attorney's Office of Maryland, located in Baltimore. Along with his education, he attributes much of his success to the supportive relationships he cultivated with social friends during his formative years, all of whom played a significant role in shaping his character and professional ethos.

Also known for his commitment to civic engagement, Mr. Gann has remained involved with his alma mater through the University of Maryland Board of Visitors, an affiliation that has allowed him to contribute meaningfully to the academic community while fostering connections that benefit both students and professionals.

Mr. Gann's accomplishments have seen him recognized with several prestigious honors over the years, including being named a Distinguished Lawyer by the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2026, his appointment mentioned above as an clerk/intern for the US Attorney's Office and receiving the ICON award from a local legal publication and as President of ZBT referenced above. Born and raised in Baltimore, Mr. Gann enjoys outdoor hobbies such as playing golf, tennis and horseback riding cross country as a balance to his professional responsibilities. A devoted family man, he has been happily married and is the proud father of three adult sons: Marc C. Gann, a graduate of Franklin & Marshall and Hofstra Law School, whereupon graduation he was selected to serve as an Assistant State's Attorney for Nassau County. Following that engagement, he joined with 2 other Assistant State's Attorneys to form a partnership for the practice of criminal law throughout Long Island and other NY jurisdictions. I should mention he has served as President of the Nassau Bar Association; a second son, Gregory Ellis Levin Gann, a graduate of GW University and the University of Baltimore Law School and the Maryland Bar; he elected not to practice law but decided to pursue successful careers in real estate and insurance and has settled in as a financial planner with specialties in financial mediation and family law matters for which he has similarly been successful; and my third son, Stanford G. Gann, Jr., also a graduate from GW University and the University of Baltimore Law School and through his own efforts has become a principal in Levin Gann, PA specializing in Litigation for which he has been very successful and "Go To Litigator". Stan, Jr., not to be left out by his brothers, was elected President of the Baltimore County Bar Association.
