There, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company's digital roadmap and expanding its technological capabilities. He was also senior vice president and chief technology officer for cloud technologies at ASG Technologies in Naples, Florida, from 2011 to 2012, contributing significantly to the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions.

One of Mr. Mueller's most notable achievements occurred between 2008 and 2011 when he co-founded visionapp AG in Germany and served as the chief technology officer. At just 20 years old, he built his own business from the ground up without external capital or venture funding. The company specialized in data center automation software that evolved into cloud management solutions. In 2011, he sold visionapp AG for approximately 140 million euros. Reflecting on this accomplishment, Mr. Mueller recognizes the value of leveraging a global skilled workforce and emphasizes that continuous learning is essential for sustained success.

Following the sale of his company, Mr. Mueller was sought after by clients but chose instead to join Deutsche Telekom as its chief technology officer in Germany, where he remained for five years. Mr. Mueller's academic background includes a master's degree in physics from Justus Liebig University Giessen in Germany, earned in 1992.
