DEXTER, MI, June 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marcy L. Church has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Redefining Peak Performance

Ms. Church is a training and development professional and emerging human performance consultant who believes meaningful growth begins with listening, curiosity, and care. Her approach focuses on understanding the environment in which people are working, the expectations placed on them, and the systems, feedback, leadership support, and resources available to help them succeed. Her professional practice is grounded in the belief that strong performance is not created by pressure alone; it is supported by clarity, dignity, structure, and genuine care.

Ms. Church brings a systems-based, people-first lens to her work, shaped by experience in business operations, analytics, finance, military-connected support, and leadership development. Her tenure with Thayer Leadership at West Point strengthened her ability to support experiential leadership programs designed to build decision-making, resilience, reflection, and team performance. Her five tax seasons preparing individual tax returns further sharpened her attention to detail, compliance awareness, and client communication during high-stakes financial decisions. Across these experiences, she has learned to connect business needs with practical solutions that improve workflows and support the people involved in the work.

A Foundation Built on Disciplined Service

Ms. Church's professional foundation began in legal service environments that demanded discipline, confidentiality, professionalism, and care. Shortly after high school, she supported legal office operations and learned from early mentors who shaped her understanding of service, structure, accountability, and professional standards. She later carried this foundation into her Department of Defense career with the JAG Corps, working directly under the supervision of the Chief of Legal Services. During combat deployment cycles, Ms. Church supported legal readiness efforts that helped soldiers prepare for wartime service by ensuring critical personal, family, and financial matters were completed accurately and with care, allowing them to focus on their mission with greater peace of mind.

Her federal service later expanded into military healthcare operations within the Managed Care Division's Beneficiary Services Branch. In this role, she supported soldiers, veterans, military families, and retirees by helping improve communication, service access, resource awareness, and the overall beneficiary experience. She also accepted additional branch responsibilities as a Collateral Duty Safety Officer (CDSO) and supply manager, supporting workplace safety and daily operational readiness. In recognition of her service, Ms. Church received the Army Department of Defense Achievement Medal, a medal from the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas, multiple challenge coins and recognitions from Army leaders, and the Honorable Order of St. Joan d'Arc medal as a military spouse.

Lifelong Learning and Community Resilience

As a mother, military spouse, and professional who spent more than 20 years navigating her husband's Army career, Ms. Church understands the invisible responsibilities people often carry while still being expected to lead, adapt, serve, and perform. Military life required her to rebuild community across relocations, support her family through deployments and transitions, and continue developing professionally through changing seasons. These experiences shaped her resilience, adaptability, and deep respect for the strength, service, and professional capability developed through military family life.

To continue developing her expertise, Ms. Church is participating in a yearlong mentorship through American Corporate Partners (ACP), with a focus on enterprise training and development, leadership development, and performance measurement. She is also an active member of both the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Ann Arbor, Michigan Chapter and the National Association for Talent Development, further aligning her professional growth with the broader Training and Development field. She holds a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Training and Development from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Troy University, and an Associate in Occupational Studies from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute.

Beyond her professional roles, Ms. Church builds community through athletics, service, faith-based involvement, military family support, and meaningful connection. An avid volleyball player and golfer, she enjoys spending time outdoors through golf, volleyball, biking, running, and other active pursuits. She is also a two-time half-marathon finisher, Army Ten-Miler finisher in Washington, D.C., and participant in multiple 5K and 10K races over the past 20 years. She views these activities as a reflection of discipline, preparation, resilience, connection, and follow-through.

Ms. Church remains engaged in activities that strengthen community and support others, including church involvement, nonprofit fundraising, breast cancer awareness efforts, golf fundraisers, military family support events, and other service-oriented opportunities. These experiences reflect her commitment to continued growth, meaningful connection, and the success of the individuals, families, and teams around her.

Looking ahead, Ms. Church is building a consulting practice focused on training and development and human performance improvement. Her goal is to help leaders and organizations look beneath the surface of performance challenges, understand what people and systems need to succeed, and design practical, human-centered solutions that support growth, clarity, and sustainable results. This next chapter reflects the through-line of her career: building systems, relationships, and support that help people move forward with confidence and purpose.
