QUEENS, NY, June 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marco Burriesci has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by over two decades of innovation and a commitment to advancing industry standards, Mr. Burriesci has led an impactful career at the intersection of building code compliance and architectural consulting. He is the founder of and lead code specialist at 3C Codes LLC, a company he created in 2018 to address the complexities of New York City's filing, approval and construction processes.

Recognizing early on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, Mr. Burriesci integrated two decades of expertise into an AI-assisted platform that delivers clear, expedited results for clients within 24 to 48 hours. His foresight in adopting emerging technologies positioned his firm at the forefront of industry change, particularly as the demand for streamlined solutions grew in 2023 and 2024.

Alongside his leadership at 3C Codes, Mr. Burriesci served as a project manager and New York State code enforcement official for an independent public benefit corporation and engineering + design firm from 2022 to 2025. In this capacity, he applied his deep knowledge of building codes to ensure regulatory compliance on complex infrastructure projects for internal Architectural, Construction and Development divisions.

As the director of code and zoning at Outsource Consultants, Inc. from 2018 to 2020, Mr. Burriesci was responsible for overseeing compliance, zoning, permit and approval strategies for a wide range of development projects. Prior to this, he served as a code compliance manager at Design 2147 for two years, managing regulatory submissions and facilitating approvals with municipal agencies in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Burriesci held the role of director of entitlements at SBLM Architects (formerly Shiffer Burdick Litchfield Magnuson Architects), guiding projects through entitlement processes and ensuring alignment with city regulations. As an associate director at Rizzo Group from 2010 to 2013, he contributed to major developments by interpreting evolving codes and advising on best zoning and city planning practices.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Burriesci excelled as a project manager at a small local architectural and expediting firm from 2004 to 2010, during which he coordinated design teams and managed client relationships in the interior design and new construction sectors. This was also where he began his professional journey as a filing representative gaining firsthand experience in the intricacies of municipal permitting.

Though his journey counts many milestones, Mr. Burriesci is particularly proud of his work on projects as a code compliance strategist for Brooklyn's Industry City development and new buildings at Essex Crossing in the Lower East Side of New York City. His efforts were pivotal in obtaining multiple variances from the city's Department of Buildings, which enabled the realization of the team's innovative design intent while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Alongside his primary roles, Mr. Burriesci's professional affiliations reflect his ongoing dedication to education and industry leadership. He has been an associate member and approved continued education provider with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) since 2025. Furthermore, he holds credentials from the International Code Council (ICC) since 2024.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic foundation, Mr. Burriesci earned a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology in 2009 and obtained an expediter's license from the NYC Department of Buildings — a formative experience that sparked his interest in code consulting during a period when opportunities were scarce due to the economic downturn.

Dedicated to the ideals of continuous professional growth, Mr. Burriesci was certified as a commercial building inspector as well as a buildings plan examiner, both by International Code Council Credentialing (ICC) in 2025. Additionally, he is certified as a code enforcement official by the State of New York and as a class 2 code and zoning representative by the NYC Department of Buildings.

Reflecting on his storied journey to date, Mr. Burriesci attributes his success to his ability to interpret increasingly complex building codes and laws — a skill honed through his years of consulting work — and draws inspiration from his parents' entrepreneurial spirit. As Italian immigrants who overcame significant challenges, their perseverance motivated him to pursue self-employment and strive for excellence in everything he does.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Burriesci is committed to civic engagement as a volunteer offering free artificial intelligence courses to broaden access to emerging technologies within the community. Outside of work, Mr. Burriesci enjoys spending time in nature, traveling and experiencing both new places and destinations tied to his family roots in Sicily. He also values conversations surrounding innovation, emerging technologies and the evolving future of design, consulting and workflow modernization.

Determined to further his impact in the coming years, Mr. Burriesci plans to expand 3C Codes by increasing continuing education offerings for professionals, architects and engineers — growing from eight approved courses toward a broader curriculum — and aims to establish a knowledge-based platform that sets new standards for workflow efficiency within the industry. Recently, 3C Codes has adopted a value-based model that moves away from traditional billing structures and seeks to influence other firms toward similar innovation. Moreover, following his success in New York City, he aspires to grow his consultancy internationally after establishing a strong presence across the United States.
