SANTA ANA, CA, June 08, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Donald Lee Rogers, O.M., recognized in Marquis Who's Who for professional prominence, was recently featured on a 22-story Times Square screen, viewed by about 1.5 million people daily. This recognition puts Rogers among a select group of accomplished professionals showcased before millions in one of the world's best-known public venues. Marquis Who's Who highlights top professionals based on their position, accomplishments, visibility, and overall prominence.

Mr. Rogers's five-decade career blends technology, creative writing, and Christian service. His recent projects from the past two years include faith-centered and adventure-driven works such as his upcoming novel "Suzie Watson's Adventures: Finding Barbacas" and screenplays "Barbacas Lives Here," "The Great Sea Monster Hunt Club" and "The Monster Inside Everyone." These recent works explore redemption, perseverance, mystery, and spiritual transformation. Through these projects, Rogers encourages audiences to examine hope, resilience, faith, and personal growth.

Starting as a self-taught IBM Assembler programmer in 1972, Rogers advanced to Application Programming Manager at Tokai Bank of California from 1987 to 1990. After 1990, he returned to technical roles, reflecting his hands-on problem-solving skills, including four years (1996-2000) addressing the Y2K crisis. He continued direct Data Engineering Coding work through February 2026.

Having concluded his technology career in February 2026, Mr. Rogers will now look forward to continuing to publish stage plays, screenplays, and novels while also advancing his father's legacy. He plans to continue expanding his portfolio of literary and cinematic works in the years ahead.

Throughout his early and mid-career, Rogers pursued studies in computer science, aerospace technology, and business/creative endeavors, integrating these disciplines as his career evolved.

In 2005, Rogers became an ordained Christian minister through "2nd Timothy 4:5 Ministries." Though raised a Christian, he found that this new role deepened his service and inspired him to pursue fundraising, outreach, and faith-based work. After a life-threatening medical crisis in 2024, Rogers underwent a profound transformation, deepening his faith and creative focus. He now shares his statement of Faith: "He Knows My Name..."

"Everything in my life—technology, storytelling, faith, and even hardship—has ultimately led me toward purpose," Rogers said. "I now want my work to inspire people to keep moving forward, no matter what challenges they face."

Mr. Rogers remains active in civic and faith-based organizations, including the Pacific Crest Trail Association. As a Santa Ana historical commissioner, he advanced local heritage preservation and, using his PCT collection, expanded the Huntington Research Library's Pacific Crest Trail archive with major donations. He recently contributed significant artifacts to The Pacific Crest Trail Museum in Campo, California, in honor of his father, Warren Lee Rogers, a recognized co-founder of the trail with Clinton C. Clarke.

As he enters a new chapter focused on storytelling, ministry outreach, and historical preservation, Rogers continues to use his experiences to inspire others through faith, creativity, and service. His journey reflects enduring American ideals of perseverance, faith, innovation, and service across generations.

He is fond of quoting, "Lewis and Clark went East to West while Rogers and Clarke went South to North."

He hopes to be remembered for his faith, faith-driven service, contributions to community heritage, and technological innovation, and for being a loving husband, father, and friend.
