UINTAH, UT, June 09, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joshua B. Lamb, PE, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Lamb has established a distinguished career in the construction industry, currently serving as a project manager at Gerber Construction since 2025. In this capacity, he manages monthly pay applications and financial records, verifies and reconciles invoices against budgets to ensure proper cash flow, and develops baseline schedules and monthly updates using P6 software. He supervises two project engineers on water and wastewater treatment facility, water tank, and pump station projects, providing guidance on submittals and requests for information related to structural components such as concrete, architecture, steel and masonry.
Additionally, Mr. Lamb's responsibilities include executing new construction and retrofit projects throughout Utah, overseeing on-site operations for the majority of his time, collaborating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project coordination and execution, and maintaining rigorous safety standards with a goal of zero injuries. He is recognized for mentoring colleagues in safe field practices and translating advanced corporate safety models from major industrial contractors to smaller organizations.
Prior to joining Gerber Construction, Mr. Lamb spent nine years at Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction in Utah. From 2023 to 2025, he served as an estimator in Draper, where he was responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for large-scale infrastructure projects. Between 2021 and 2023, he held the role of project manager in Salt Lake City, overseeing complex construction initiatives and ensuring projects were delivered on time and within budget.
From 2019 to 2020, Mr. Lamb worked as a project engineer in Logan, contributing technical expertise to various engineering assignments. Earlier, from 2016 to 2018, he was a project engineer and quality control manager in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, where he implemented quality assurance protocols and managed compliance with industry standards.
Mr. Lamb began his professional journey at Kiewit, one of the largest contractors in North America. In 2016, he worked as an engineer estimator specializing in track projects in the Greater Phoenix Area. From 2014 to 2016, he served as a track engineer and superintendent in Fremont, California, managing rail infrastructure projects. In 2014, he contributed as a civil engineer and superintendent in Reno before moving into roles as an engineer estimator in Salt Lake City between 2013 and 2014 and as a civil field engineer in Phoenix in 2013.
Throughout his career spanning more than two decades, Mr. Lamb has developed expertise in structural concrete and project scheduling. He is highly regarded for his ability to implement best practices in safety management, skills honed during his tenure at Kiewit, and for guiding organizations through operational growth phases. His leadership has been instrumental in helping teams achieve recognition for excellence; he played key roles on project teams that received multiple awards for outstanding concrete construction and earned recognition from Engineering News-Record.
Mr. Lamb's professional affiliations include membership with the American Society of Civil Engineers and Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity during his academic years. His educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Utah State University in Logan in 2012. The technical foundation gained through this program enabled him to excel across diverse engineering disciplines throughout his career.
Complementing his formal education, Mr. Lamb holds several certifications, including Envision Sustainability Professional from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure awarded in 2023; professional engineer licensure from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying granted by the State of Utah in 2019; and a remote pilot certificate under Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 107 from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Lamb attributes his success to strong teams, effective managers and influential role models who have shaped his professional development. He also credits personal resilience, particularly following a traumatic brain injury sustained during college that required extensive recovery, for enabling him to persevere through adversity and ultimately achieve licensure as a professional engineer.
Beyond his primary career achievements, Mr. Lamb is an accomplished musician with three decades of piano experience who also plays guitar and writes original songs. Over recent years, he has composed, produced and released music across major streaming platforms using a process that integrates live instrumentation with artificial intelligence tools for creative expansion and digital mastering techniques. While initially aspiring toward internet fame as an artist or band member, he ultimately prioritized creative fulfillment over promotional pursuits.
This musical expertise led Mr. Lamb to establish a multimedia business producing short-form marketing media for real estate agents seeking innovative ways to sell properties. As a licensed commercial drone pilot holding a Part 107 certification, he captures aerial footage, produces promotional videos and composes custom musical scores tailored to each listing's unique character. Through his proprietary four-day launch program under the Lamb Motion brand, he executed campaigns that generated significant online engagement, including one effort that resulted directly in the sale of a previously stagnant property.
Born in Orderville, Mr. Lamb enjoys composing music, playing piano and guitar, aerial videography as a licensed drone pilot, video production and editing, as well as creating real estate marketing media. As patriarch of his family since adolescence, he has provided financial literacy education and general guidance to his three younger sisters while supporting his mother.
Looking ahead, Mr. Lamb aims to further expand his expertise while continuing his work with Gerber Construction, a company he values for its culture of growth and employee ownership. By leveraging the institutional knowledge gained throughout his career at leading construction firms nationwide, he looks to contribute meaningfully to its ongoing development.
Mr. Lamb shares, "Challenges are inherent to this business. What matters most is how we respond to those challenges and solve problems while keeping our owners satisfied and our team motivated. This work is fundamentally a team effort. Things will inevitably go wrong on every project, and we plan meticulously and take proactive measures to prevent issues, but we accept that challenges arise. What defines us is how we rise to meet those challenges."
