She was responsible for preparing patients for their transition back to independent living or arranging alternative placements when necessary. Her work at LTC Rehab Consultants underscored her commitment to comprehensive patient care during critical periods of recovery.

Prior to her tenure as a nurse practitioner, Dr. Sitaula worked as a registered nurse in two skilled nursing facilities in Colorado. These early experiences provided her with foundational clinical skills and deepened her understanding of patient needs across diverse healthcare settings.

Dr. Sitaula's educational background is extensive. She earned a Doctor of Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz, where she was honored with the Graduate Leadership Award, building upon a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a family nurse practitioner from the same institution. She previously completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, after earning an associate degree from Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado.

The pursuit of education was not without its challenges for Dr. Sitaula. When she began her master's program at the University of Colorado Anschutz, she had just given birth to her son and attended classes only days postpartum, often standing throughout lectures due to physical discomfort. Despite financial obstacles and the demands of caring for young children — including completing a final presentation via Zoom from her hospital room just hours after delivering her second son — she remained steadfast in prioritizing both family and education.

Dr. Sitaula's passion for healthcare was ignited at an early age while growing up in Nepal, where frequent hospital visits with her mother inspired admiration for medical professionals. As the first member of her family to enter the healthcare field, she has consistently sought ways to make quality care more accessible, motivated further by personal experiences with insurance limitations that shaped the mission behind Namaste Telehealth.

Central to Dr. Sitaula's story is the adversity she overcame to reach her achievements. Having grown up in a region of Nepal where educational opportunities for girls were significantly limited, her journey from the remote hills of her homeland to earning a terminal degree in nursing in the United States was marked by considerable challenge.
