Prior to joining FuriosaAI, Mr. Liu co-founded NETINT Technologies Inc., where he served as chief operations officer from 2015 to 2024. During this tenure, he played a central role in defining the company's vision, developing innovative hardware acceleration products, and scaling the organization from inception to more than 200 employees. Under his leadership, NETINT successfully brought multiple products to market and expanded its global operational capabilities. In recognition of these achievements, NETINT received the 2022–2023 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award, with Mr. Liu receiving an individual Emmy statuette in recognition of his contributions as a key innovator behind the company's award-winning technology. His ability to identify emerging technologies and guide organizations through significant growth phases stands as one of his most notable professional accomplishments.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Liu worked as a program manager at PMC-Sierra in British Columbia, Canada, from 2011 to 2015, following a similar role at Research In Motion in Waterloo, Ontario, from 2010 to 2011. He previously served as a product program manager at Nokia in Beijing, where he oversaw product life cycle management and coordinated cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to market. From 2006 to 2010, he held the position of principal project manager at Sony Ericsson in Beijing, leading major initiatives that contributed to the company's growth in the mobile communications sector. He began his professional journey as a business development manager at NTT DATA in Beijing from 2003 to 2006.

Mr. Liu completed the LEAD Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2023. He also holds a master's degree in management of science and technology from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, earned in 2003, and obtained Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2005.
