Ms. Thourot's work at Exigent reinforced her belief in the extraordinary transferable skills nurses possess and their potential to shape the future of healthcare.

Concurrently, from 2011 to 2023, Ms. Thourot was an entrepreneur in legal nurse consulting, providing expert guidance on medical-legal matters. Ms. Thourot attributes much of her success to the values instilled by her father, commitment to excellence both professionally and personally, which fostered her competitive spirit and determination throughout life's challenges. Her resilience has been further strengthened by completing five marathons, competing in various sports and overcoming significant personal adversity. Drawn initially to nursing by a desire to make a direct difference through skillful compassion and calm decision-making during vulnerable moments for patients and their families, Ms. Thourot's career evolved into leadership roles where she could influence broader change within healthcare systems.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Thourot is committed to civic engagement.
