Her work includes establishing Program Management Offices and Offices of the CIO, as well as supporting ERP-enabled transformations across platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and Workday, with increasing emphasis on responsible AI adoption and enterprise adoption readiness.
For the past eight years, Dr. Davalos has served as a strategic consultant to Grupo Bimbo, where she co-led the establishment of the North America Program Management Office, Organizational Change Management Office, and Office of the CIO. These capabilities strengthened governance, alignment, and execution across the enterprise, enabling the organization to maximize value from Oracle Cloud and merger and acquisition investments by improving operational efficiency, standardizing global processes, and enhancing business performance.
Her work with Grupo Bimbo also included establishing the North America Organizational Change Management practice, which institutionalized enterprise readiness, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional adoption of ERP and AI-enabled and robotics solutions. This foundation supported the execution of large-scale transformations and contributed to formal client recognition of delivery impact.
Dr. Davalos has developed organizational change management practices for United Airlines and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and has significantly contributed to enterprise transformations in healthcare and higher education. At the University of Chicago Medical Center, she helped establish the Transformation Office and the Office of the CIO, overseeing a multi-year strategic roadmap across clinical practice, business operations, and academia that enhanced operational performance and service delivery through best practices and emerging technologies. Additionally, Dr. Davalos played a key role in the HR transformation.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Davalos held senior leadership roles in transformation, technology enablement, and client engagement, including at E78 Partners, Trillium Solutions Group, Quadrum Business Solutions, Messina Group, and Aon, where she delivered measurable improvements in cost efficiency, service performance, and operating model maturity. She also began her career at AT&T, where she served as a CIO and executive director supporting complex enterprise technology environments and major global vendor partnerships.
In addition to her corporate leadership, Dr. Davalos actively participates in leadership development, mentoring, and thought leadership within the broader transformation and organizational development community. She has served as a faculty member, coach, and advisor to emerging professionals and continues to support initiatives that promote women and underrepresented talent in technology and leadership. Dr. Davalos is launching a non-profit organization dedicated to "Paying It Forward."
