NEWPORT, OR, June 23, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anneke Marie Brown has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Brown has established a prominent career in education, mentorship and caregiving. As the founder of and program designer at One Take Learning, she has been pivotal in designing and implementing science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) learning systems for both public and private schools.

Ms. Brown's work integrates robotics, drones and submersible ROVs into curricula, fostering hands-on educational programs that improve both retention and clarity for students. Overseeing student progress and professional skill development, she addresses the educational gaps caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and leads marketing and enrollment efforts to expand the reach of her programs.

Prior to establishing One Take Learning, Ms. Brown served as a private tutor from 2022 to 2024. In this capacity, she provided individualized instruction tailored to each student's needs, drawing on her extensive background in STEAM education and commitment to closing learning gaps. Her approach emphasized the practical application of scientific concepts and encouraged curiosity-driven exploration.

From 2022 to 2024, Ms. Brown was a STEAM teacher, where she developed and delivered innovative science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics curricula designed to engage students through interactive projects and enhance their real-world problem-solving skills.

Ms. Brown is also a successful author, having written for Equip Caregivers LLC in Boise, Idaho, from 2018 to 2023. Her publications throughout this time — including 2021's "The Caregiving Success Guide" — focused on providing resources and guidance for caregivers, informed by her own decades-long experience of supporting family members through serious medical conditions and difficult healthcare choices. She initially founded Equip Caregivers in 2000, providing support services and advocacy for caregivers and developing educational materials aimed at improving long-term outcomes.

Ms. Brown's impact extends to her work as a motivational speaker with Grey Picket Fences in Boise from 2000 to 2023. Having witnessed the healthcare disparities and widespread effects of war while serving internationally, she inspired audiences with stories of resilience, caregiving and the importance of meaningful work that impacts the lives of individuals and families in the greatest need.

Though her diverse career counts many milestones, one of Ms. Brown's proudest achievements is securing copyrights for her unique STEAM Labs system design — a milestone that validated years of creative effort and dedication. This system stands out for its innovative approach to hands-on learning as well as its memorialization of the children she has worked with as a nanny and teacher.

Hailing from an equally foundational academic journey of her own, Ms. Brown successfully earned an Associate of Arts from Spokane Community Colleges. Her experiences of overcoming Dyslexia and not being able to read until fifth grade profoundly shaped her understanding of the learning challenges that many students face. A pivotal middle school science experiment with mealworms ignited her passion for laboratory science and biomedical engineering — an influence that remains central to her educational philosophy at One Take Learning.

Ms. Brown's entry into the field of teaching was motivated by the insights she gained during two decades of raising and homeschooling her four children. After working for a government entity during the COVID-19 pandemic, she recognized the need for structured learning environments that could benefit children beyond her own family. This realization led to the creation of STEAM projects that reflect her favorite memories and successful teaching strategies.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Brown is known for her commitment to civic endeavors. She has volunteered with St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise and contributed significantly to St. Luke's Children's Hospital, supporting children diagnosed with leukemia through charitable events at major hospitals. In her personal life, she is deeply devoted to her children who remain central to everything she does and enjoys hobbies such as hiking, reading and quilting as a balance to her work responsibilities.

Determined to further her impact in the coming years, Ms. Brown intends to create a global robotics, drone and submersible competition through her STEAM labs while expanding these programs into schools around the world. She is dedicated to strengthening program foundations so that her training resources become robust enough for broad implementation, seeking peace, unity and healing as she continues to make a meaningful impact through education, innovation and compassion.
