SANDY SPRINGS, GA, June 23, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mrugaya "Mu" Wagh has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process. The distinction also recognizes individuals whose influence extends beyond business performance through leadership, mentorship and meaningful contributions to the communities and organizations they serve.

Mu has established herself as a distinguished business leader known for combining operational excellence with a deeply people centered leadership philosophy. Her expertise spans operations, organizational growth, strategic planning, talent development and culture building. Over the course of more than two decades, she has built a reputation for helping organizations scale, developing high-performing teams and creating environments where individuals and businesses can thrive. Recognized for her compassionate leadership style, ability to build lasting relationships and commitment to helping others succeed, she believes that success is ultimately measured not only by business results, but also by the positive impact one has on the lives, careers and aspirations of others.

Mu's journey to business leadership began when she moved from Mumbai, India, to the United States to pursue graduate studies at The University of Texas at Dallas. Arriving less than a month before the events of September 11, 2001, she faced the challenge of adapting to a new country while building a life and career far from home. Without an established professional network, she relied on hard work, determination, resilience and the generosity of people who believed in her potential. Those early experiences would later shape her leadership philosophy, reinforcing the importance of empathy, inclusion and creating opportunities for others to thrive.

Looking back, Mu credits much of her success to what she describes as the America she was fortunate to experience - a community defined by kindness, generosity and an openness to people from all walks of life. As a young immigrant from India, she was welcomed by individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, races and faiths who embraced her, encouraged her and took genuine interest in her experiences and perspective. Rather than feeling like an outsider, she found herself surrounded by people who celebrated diversity of thought, culture and life experiences, creating a sense of belonging far from home.

During those formative years, Mu found encouragement and support from an extended community of friends, mentors, educators and professionals who helped her navigate unfamiliar challenges. She recalls spending countless hours studying at a local coffee shop near campus, where friendships formed and a sense of family emerged far from home. Members of that community celebrated her successes alongside her, offering encouragement, support and even treating her to lunch when she earned good grades in her classes. Equally meaningful were the professionals who gave a young international student opportunities to learn and gain experience, often through unpaid internships and projects that provided invaluable exposure to the professional world. Those experiences reinforced her belief that a single opportunity can change the trajectory of someone's life. This belief continues to guide her leadership today, influencing her commitment to mentorship, talent development and creating pathways for others to succeed.

While pursuing her Master of Business Administration at The University of Texas at Dallas, Mu became a founding member and vice president of the university's MBA Society and helped organize the institution's first dedicated MBA Career Fair. Through internships, employer outreach and student leadership initiatives, she developed a passion for connecting people with opportunities and helping others succeed, a theme that would continue throughout her professional life.

Following graduate school, Mu built experience across analytics, financial services, procurement and project management. She served as a program and market analyst with the American Cancer Society, supporting national health promotion initiatives through research, reporting and strategic analysis. She later gained experience in procurement and operations through leadership roles with other organizations, developing expertise in business operations, customer engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Her two children have remained one of the most important influences throughout Mu's journey. Early in her career, she made the intentional decision to step away from the workforce for three years to focus on raising her young children. When she returned to professional life, her daughter was four years old and her son was one. The experience deepened her appreciation for patience, resilience, empathy and the importance of investing in others—qualities that would later become hallmarks of her leadership style.

In 2013, Mu joined Procure Analytics, where she found what she describes as another community that embraced and supported her growth. Over the years, she advanced through multiple leadership positions, including Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Throughout her tenure, she has been welcomed by customers, supplier partners, colleagues and teammates who became trusted collaborators, mentors and friends. The relationships she has built across the organization and industry remain among the most treasured aspects of her professional life. What began as a professional opportunity evolved into a community that reinforced her belief in the power of relationships, mentorship and shared success. As a leader, she became known not only for driving business results but also for fostering environments where individuals felt valued, supported and empowered to grow.

Known for her approachable and people centered leadership style, Mu has consistently focused on building strong relationships, developing future leaders and creating opportunities for others to succeed. Many of the individuals she has mentored have gone on to assume leadership positions of their own, an accomplishment she considers among the most rewarding of her career. She believes that strong organizations are built by investing in people, fostering trust and empowering individuals to contribute their best work. Increasingly, Mu is recognized as an advocate for modern leadership approaches that balance performance, empathy and long-term organizational health.

Central to Mu's philosophy is a simple principle she has embraced throughout her life: "Always strive to do better than your best self." It is a mindset that has guided her personal and professional journey and one she regularly encourages her children to live by as well. Rather than comparing success to others, she believes in continuous growth, self-improvement and challenging oneself to reach new levels of potential. She encourages leaders to cultivate environments where learning, curiosity and personal development are viewed as essential drivers of both individual and organizational success.

Mu is also a firm believer that one's environment can be life's greatest teacher and mentor. She believes that God continually places opportunities, lessons and people in our path, and that growth comes from being willing to observe, absorb and learn from those experiences. Looking back on her own journey from arriving in the United States as a young international student, to raising a family, to building a successful career she credits much of her success to the wisdom, encouragement and opportunities provided by the communities and individuals who surrounded her. This belief has reinforced her commitment to lifelong learning, gratitude and helping others recognize the opportunities that exist around them.

These experiences have profoundly shaped Mu's leadership philosophy. She believes that talent is universal, but opportunity is not always evenly distributed. As a result, she is deeply committed to mentoring others, opening doors whenever possible and ensuring that individuals who are willing to work hard are given the chance to grow. Much of her professional fulfillment comes from helping people recognize potential in themselves that they may not yet see.

Mu earned a Master of Business Administration from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Her educational journey reflects the resilience, determination and optimism that have defined both her personal and professional life.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Mu believes strongly in giving back and creating positive opportunities for others, reflecting the same generosity that helped shape her own journey.

Today, as her daughter prepares to enter her senior year of high school and her son begins his freshman year, Mu considers them among her greatest accomplishments and strongest sources of inspiration. Throughout the challenges and successes of her career, they have remained her biggest cheerleaders, celebrating milestones, encouraging her ambitions and reminding her of what matters most. She credits much of her success to the unwavering support of her children, friends, mentors, colleagues and community.

Looking ahead, Mu hopes to continue creating opportunities for others, developing future leaders and contributing to conversations around leadership, workplace culture and organizational excellence. She views her career not simply as a series of professional accomplishments, but as a reflection of the many individuals who invested in her success. Through her leadership, mentorship and service, she strives to honor that support by paying it forward to future generations while helping individuals and organizations realize their full potential and create meaningful, lasting impact.
