JACKSONVILLE, FL, June 29, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Andrew McCann has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. McCann has established a distinguished career defined by resilience, innovation and an enduring commitment to serving others. Throughout his professional journey, he has successfully blended clinical expertise, entrepreneurial vision and business leadership, building a career centered on improving the lives of others while strengthening the communities he serves.
He currently serves as chairman of Bold Leadership PC, providing strategic leadership and organizational oversight. Since 2024, he has also served as vice president of RB22, where he contributes his expertise in operations, marketing and business development. That same year, Mr. McCann assumed operational leadership of University Diner, one of Jacksonville's longtime family-owned restaurants. Taking over the restaurant allowed Mr. McCann to understand the community it served, while also allowing more time to his wife, Carly, and their children Corbin and Collin.
Mr. McCann's passion for helping others began long before his business career. In 2010, he entered the medical profession as an emergency medical technician at one of Northeast Florida's premier Level I trauma centers. Working alongside emergency physicians, trauma surgeons and first responders, he cared for critically injured patients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. The experience instilled in him a deep appreciation for compassionate service and laid the foundation for a career dedicated to improving patient care.
In 2016, Mr. McCann transitioned into the orthopedic medical device industry, specializing in trauma surgery and orthopedic reconstruction. Over the next eight years, he advanced through progressively larger leadership roles in business development, regional sales management and commercial strategy within the medical technology sector. During that time, he partnered with some of the nation's most respected orthopedic surgeons and hospital systems, including the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Supporting complex trauma procedures in some of the country's busiest Level I trauma centers, he became known for his clinical expertise, technical proficiency and commitment to improving surgical outcomes. His ability to combine medical knowledge with business leadership enabled him to mentor high-performing teams, strengthen physician partnerships and drive significant organizational growth throughout the southeastern United States.
Among Mr. McCann's proudest accomplishments was founding Your Angel's Ink in 2019, a company inspired by profound personal tragedy. On his 30th birthday, he and his wife, Carly, experienced the devastating loss of their two-month-old daughter to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). As they searched for meaningful ways to preserve her memory, Mr. McCann recognized that countless other families were navigating similar grief without a deeply personal way to honor their loved ones. Motivated by that experience, he developed Your Angel's Ink, an innovative company dedicated to safely infusing cremated remains into tattoo ink. What began as a deeply personal journey of healing evolved into a business that provided comfort and hope to families across the country, allowing them to carry a permanent tribute to those they had lost. Mr. McCann considers the opportunity to transform personal tragedy into a source of healing for others to be the defining achievement of his professional career.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. McCann remains actively engaged in civic and community organizations. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Mandarin, the JAX Chamber and the San Marco Preservation Society, and has supported numerous charitable initiatives benefiting Memorial Hospital Jacksonville, Jacksonville University, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and a variety of local nonprofit organizations.
Mr. McCann attributes much of his success to a willingness to pursue unconventional paths while remaining steadfast in doing what he believes is right. The loss of his daughter fundamentally reshaped his perspective on success, teaching him that life's greatest achievements are measured not by titles or financial accomplishments, but by the lives we impact and the legacy we leave behind. He believes his greatest responsibility is raising his children with integrity, compassion and purpose while striving to make his community stronger for future generations.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. McCann enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, home improvement projects and creating things with his hands. Looking toward the future, he remains committed to expanding his service to Jacksonville through business leadership, civic engagement and public service, with the goal of fostering greater transparency, collaboration and opportunity throughout the community.
