Between 2012 and 2013, Mr. Wiley served as an assistant manager at U.S. Bank. In this role, he managed team performance, contributed to customer service improvements and played a key role in branch administration.
Mr. Wiley began his professional journey in the leadership development program at U.S. Bank from 2010 to 2012. This formative experience provided him with foundational skills in banking operations, leadership strategies and client relations.

Among the highlights of his career he has enjoyed being a mentor to countless students of San José State University. His professional affiliations reflect his dedication to leadership and service. Mr. Wiley has served as president of the board of directors for the Alumni Association at San José State University since 2025 and as treasurer for the Black Alumni Network within the same association since 2021.
Mr. Wiley's academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from San José State University in San Jose, California, in 2009. He also completed coursework at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton in 2001 after graduating from Tracy High School in Tracy that same year. His education laid a strong foundation for his achievements in financial services, leadership and community engagement.
He holds several certifications that have furthered his professional capabilities, including certified credit union financial counselor from America's Credit Unions, earned in 2023; notary public from the State of California, held from 2018 to 2023; credit union business development professional from America's Credit Unions, earned in 2019; and mortgage loan originator from the State of California, earned in 2010.
Mr. Wiley attributes his success to persistence, resilience and a strong growth mindset, qualities shaped by the support of his mother, wife, mother-in-law, and the guidance of his father. These influences have enabled him to persevere through challenges while maintaining forward momentum.
His civic involvement is extensive. He has served on the board of directors for the Tower Foundation of San José State University since 2025 and has mentored students at San José State University since 2020. Additionally, he has served as an executive board member of the Bay Area Chapter 540 of the Leadership Association at Lockheed Martin Corporation since 2019. He has been a disaster response partner with the Community Emergency Response Team for the City of San Jose since 2015, a role that allows him to assist during emergencies while remaining actively connected to his community.
Mr. Wiley's previous civic roles include executive board member positions with the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce from 2020 to 2024 and the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce from 2021 to 2023; advisory board member for the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce from 2022 to 2023; chair of Campbell Young Professionals at the Campbell Chamber of Commerce from 2019 to 2021; participant in the L.E.A.D. Program at Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation in 2020; finance and administration division member at the Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce from 2014 to 2016; board member for the San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP in 2014; King's Men Council member at Maranatha Christian Center from 2011 to 2014; financial counselor with Junior Achievement USA in 2012; and treasurer for Black Alliance of Scientists and Engineers within NSBE in 2009. He was recognized as New Member of the Year in 2019.
