Ms. Rumbelow oversees all aspects of the business, including managing a staff of 50 employees ensuring the restaurant operates seven days a week except for the first Sunday of each month.

Throughout her tenure, Ms. Rumbelow has demonstrated resilience and adaptability, particularly during challenging periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic. She managed to keep Bruno's Pizza operational and her employees paid despite significant personal hardships. For nearly seven years, she has managed the restaurant independently, a feat she considers her most notable achievement, given the unique challenges women face in the restaurant industry. Ms. Rumbelow attributes much of her success to her dedicated team, several of whom have worked alongside her for more than 27 years. Her cook and manager began working at Bruno's Pizza at age 15 and now oversees kitchen operations. The staff is recognized for fostering a positive work environment and building strong relationships with customers, often recalling their preferences and creating a welcoming atmosphere that extends to the families of employees from multiple generations.

Ms. Rumbelow is actively involved in professional organizations that support local businesses and community engagement. She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau, which have provided valuable networking opportunities and resources to enhance her business operations further.

Her career began after she earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Tyler Junior College in 1987. Initially aspiring to become a lawyer, Ms. Rumbelow worked as a paralegal assisting an attorney before marrying into the family that owned Bruno's Pizza. Ms. Rumbelow chose to prioritize her marriage and joined her husband in running the restaurant. Together, they bought out his siblings to assume full ownership. After her husband's passing nearly seven years ago, Ms. Rumbelow became the sole owner, operator, and manager of Bruno's Pizza. At one point, she operated two locations but closed one three years ago to focus on strengthening the original establishment.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Rumbelow is committed to civic engagement and community support. She has been recognized as a community partner and supporter of children with special needs through initiatives at Bruno's Pizza. Her contributions have been acknowledged with several awards, including Best Pizza Award and Best Pasta Awards as well as being named B.R.I.D.G.E. Partner of the Month by Tyler Independent School District in 2026.

Born in Tyler, Ms. Rumbelow values family above all else. She is the mother of John Ryan, Nicholas Bruno and Trevor Paul, who are also her business partners at Bruno's Pizza. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and attending music festivals. Currently remodeling her restaurant, Ms. Rumbelow has invested in new booths, tables, chairs, televisions and music systems to enhance the dining experience. She plans to expand the existing minibar into a more substantial bar area for adults while preserving the family-friendly atmosphere that defines Bruno's Pizza.
