PHOENIX, AZ, July 22, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. David Sheridan has built a distinguished career in technology, operations, testing and training, most recently serving as director of operations for CACI International Inc. since 2017. He oversees two core teams responsible for Training, Test Automation and Quality Assurance, ensuring that system updates do not disrupt mission critical functions for the U.S. Marine Corps and other federal clients. Among his proudest achievements is leading major initiatives in support of the Marine Corps Global Combat Support System (GCSS MC). He directed development of the first six terabyte "Gold Disk," an external hard drive designed to deliver current training tools and security updates to air gapped servers at Marine Corps schoolhouses worldwide. By coordinating upgrades across 102 servers at 17 locations including Quantico, Camp Pendleton, and Okinawa, he ensured Marines had reliable access to essential classroom training resources.

A recognized leader in applying artificial intelligence and automation to supply chain management, Mr. Sheridan develops tools and training programs that utilize AI to streamline processes such as parts ordering and service request management. His work frequently takes him to domestic and international military installations, where he trains personnel on emerging applications and technologies.

In 2024, he was selected as a CACI Ambassador, an honor awarded to only a small group within the company's over 25,000 person workforce. In this role, he communicates organizational updates, mentors early career employees, and works closely with interns and college students to help prepare the next generation of professionals.

Since 2019, he has also led the automation of regression testing for mission critical systems using Oracle Application Testing Suite. Under his direction, a manual process that once required a full week and several test resources now executes automatically and autonomously in under three hours, significantly increasing efficiency and reliability for CACI's clients.

Mr. Sheridan joined CACI in late 2017 and quickly made a significant impact. Previously, while supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2018, he led a team that introduced Agile practices, AWS integration, and DevOps methodologies, advancements that earned industry recognition for technological excellence.

Before joining CACI, Mr. Sheridan held multiple senior leadership positions with government contracting and defense technology organizations in Northern Virginia. From 2016 to 2017, he served as Director of IT and Service Desk at Agile Defense, where he led significant technology and compliance modernization efforts at the company's headquarters and oversaw a complete office relocation.

From 2014 to 2016, he served as a Senior Technical Project Manager with Accenture Federal Services, directing support operations for several complex federal systems. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, he worked at EDC Consulting LLC as a Senior Training Specialist and Customer Support Manager, where he developed training programs and led client support teams.

Mr. Sheridan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Pfeiffer University in 2006, following an Associate Degree in General Studies and Spanish from Catonsville Community College in 2004. He has completed extensive professional development, including ITIL Foundation, Practitioner, and Expert certifications, as well as training in technical support, project management, enterprise service management systems, and multiple artificial intelligence disciplines.

Throughout his career, Mr. Sheridan has authored notable works, including GCSS-MC Disconnected Capabilities for the U.S. Marine Corps in 2023, which presents innovative approaches for secure training in disconnected environments, and Send Them Nurses, published in the international Johns Hopkins Nursing Magazine in 2004.

Outside of work, he remains actively involved in community service, volunteering with Johns Hopkins University's development and alumni programs, supporting local food banks, assisting The Salvation Army, and contributing to Big Brother initiatives as both a volunteer and donor.

Originally from Chicago and raised in Portland, he now resides in Phoenix with his wife, Sari, and their two incredible children, Finley and Paxton. He enjoys dancing on stage with his son and coaching youth baseball, including his daughter's Little League team, the Plate Breakers. He finds deep fulfillment in mentoring young athletes and with his free time he enjoys playing golf, traveling with his family, and engaging in community activism that is meaningful to him.

Looking ahead, Mr. Sheridan aspires to advance into C-suite executive leadership roles focused on people-centered initiatives that make learning accessible, engaging, and impactful. Ultimately, he aims to establish his own consulting firm dedicated to leadership development and organizational empowerment. Guided by a people first philosophy, he leads by example and takes great pride in fostering the loyalty, growth, and success of the teams he serves. He has earned consistent, enthusiastic recommendations from every direct report he has led, all highlighting a common thread: each person felt genuinely valued as both a professional and an individual. His empathy, integrity, commitment to others' success, and respect are recognized as core pillars of his leadership style.
