Drawing on a multifaceted career spanning theatrical lighting and electrical work, performing arts administration, scientific field support, editorial work, and nonprofit leadership, Miss Hale has applied that experience to museum operations and historic preservation. Since founding The Artwork of Reuben Hale, Inc. in 2019, she has served as its founder and executive director, overseeing fundraising, financial management, exhibit curation, and preservation of her father Reuben Hale's artwork and life story. Her responsibilities also include maintaining the museum's gardens, conducting tours, and building the institution's board of directors — all in service of ensuring the museum continues to educate and engage visitors for years to come.

Under Miss Hale's stewardship, the museum achieved a significant milestone when it was accepted as an affiliate member of the Historic Artists' Homes and Studios program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation — a recognition she regards as validation of her father's contributions to American art, education and civic leadership, and of her own work preserving them.

Miss Hale's path to museum leadership was shaped by a wide-ranging career in the performing arts and technical theater. From 1990 to 1998, she worked at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach — joining during construction and serving as the venue's Master Electrician following its 1992 opening. She took on authoring the technical specifications for all three theaters in the complex herself, completing the first edition in 1994 and updating it several times in the years that followed. She has continued to support the Kravis Center informally in the years since.

She began her career in technical theater as a union stagehand in the late 1970s, working with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE Local 500, member since 1979) across a number of prominent venues, including the Royal Poinciana Playhouse in Palm Beach (periodically, 1978–2003), the New York City Ballet (1980–1986, and again for the company's 1997 South American tour), Saratoga Performing Arts Center (1981–1982), and Madison Square Garden (1979–1981). She went on to serve as a lighting designer for Ballet Florida (1987–1990) and later as Master Electrician and, subsequently, Lighting Director for Palm Beach Opera (2001–2011).

In one of the more unexpected chapters of her career, Miss Hale spent a year as an aerialist and showgirl with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus (1976–1977), touring the country and living aboard the circus train — an experience she credits with instilling a lasting sense of adaptability and resilience.

Miss Hale also lent her technical skills to scientific research during two seasons in Antarctica, first with Antarctic Support Associates (1999–2000) and then with Raytheon Polar Services (2000–2001), providing electrical support for the United States Antarctic Program at McMurdo Station and field camps including Marble Point, Lake Fryxell, and Byrd Surface Camp, under extreme conditions.

Since 1995, Miss Hale has pursued nature and fine art photography, whose techniques she has applied to museum curation and to her long-running role as a contributing editor and photographer for the Castles of Wales website, documenting Welsh medieval history.

Miss Hale attended four years of college — studying piano performance at the University of Southern Mississippi, Palm Beach Atlantic College, and Florida Atlantic University — and later returned to undergraduate study at Rutgers University and New York University, where she studied physics while continuing to work as an electrician for the New York City Ballet and New York City Opera. Reflecting on her path, she attributes much of her success to her parents: her mother instilled in her a drive for excellence in every undertaking, while her father inspired the creativity and problem-solving that have served her across every chapter of her career.

Miss Hale founded The Artwork of Reuben Hale, Inc. in the wake of her father's passing in 2018, securing its nonprofit status in September 2019. Recognizing his lifelong reluctance toward self-promotion, alongside the importance of his artistic and civic contributions, she has devoted herself to ensuring his legacy reaches the wider audience it deserves — work she regards as the culmination of every professional skill she has developed over her career.

Miss Hale maintains affiliations with the IATSE & MPMO (Local 500), the American Polar Society, The Antarctican Society, Cadw: Welsh Historic Monuments, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and GEN-FED (formerly the National Institute of Genealogical Research). Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a proud caretaker of five cats and enjoys photography, gardening, growing orchids, genealogical research, and bookbinding, tatting, and other crafts.

Looking ahead, Miss Hale is focused on expanding The Artwork of Reuben Hale into a larger, more financially stable organization with a robust board of directors. She continues to develop new exhibits — including Reuben Hale: A Centennial Celebration, an upcoming retrospective at Southern Illinois University marking what would have been her father's 100th birthday in Fall 2027, to be presented alongside a concurrent exhibition at the Reuben Hale House titled Reuben's Legacy, featuring the work of former students of Reuben Hale who went on to establish their own professional careers as artists — and remains committed to the museum's long-term sustainability and mission.
