RUMSON, NJ, July 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present John V. Veech with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Veech celebrates many years' experience in his professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Veech has distinguished himself as a leader in the infrastructure and energy sectors, most recently serving as the chief executive officer of Sustainability Partners LLC from 2024 to 2026. In this capacity, he guided the company through a period of rapid growth and transformation, leveraging its unique operating model to scale efficiently across the U.S. Under Mr. Veech's leadership, Sustainability Partners LLC expanded its services to include procurement, maintenance and management of critical infrastructure projects, including, among others, electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, solar projects - both utility scale and microgrids, water meters, water treatment plants and turf and lighting projects for state and local governments, as well as hospitals and universities. The company's innovative approach allows municipalities to avoid incurring significant debt by offering infrastructure to the customer utilizing its unique "as-a-service" model.

After announcing his retirement from full-time employment in July of 2026, Mr. Veech will be continuing in his role as a member of the board of directors of Sustainability Partners, a role he has had since 2022, and also, as of August 2026, will become a senior advisor to the company. He continues to contribute to the company's strategic direction and will be limiting his future outside commitments to a small number of board positions. Mr. Veech's ongoing involvement with Sustainability Partners ensures continuity as the organization pursues its ambitious objectives for scaling operations and further enhancing its credibility in the financial markets.

Before his tenure at Sustainability Partners, Mr. Veech was the managing partner and chief investment officer at Marathon Capital Partners LLC from 2022 to 2024. There, he was involved in developing the firm's investment business within the renewable energy sector, complementing its established mergers and acquisitions advisory services.

Between 2021 and 2022, Mr. Veech served as a senior advisor and advisory board member for Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners at Morgan Stanley. His most extensive corporate leadership experience was as a managing director and head of the Americas region for Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) from 2009 to 2021. During this time, he was a key senior member of the management team which oversaw three infrastructure funds totaling approximately $16 billion. Approximately half of the MSIP platform was invested in the U.S. under Mr. Veech's direct oversight. Mr. Veech's expertise in global infrastructure, strategic planning, business transformations and project finance was instrumental in executing and exiting multiple investments across different infrastructure verticals at the MSIP platform. Prior to joining MSIP in an investing role, Mr. Veech was also involved in numerous highly successful financing and advisory transactions, including the early utility restructurings and disaggregation transactions in connection with the establishment of competitive power markets in the U.S., as well as several high-profile international oil & gas financings involving national and super major oil companies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Veech held key roles at Lehman Brothers, including as a managing director in Lehman's private equity division. Before joining the private equity division, he led Lehman's global project finance practice for a decade, after having joined there from the fixed income division at Salomon Brothers Inc. He began his professional journey practicing law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City, following an initial position as an attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.

While Mr. Veech determined to attend law school after his college graduation, he was always keenly interested in the economic underpinnings and business rationales underlying the transactions which he worked on as an attorney and has also had a longstanding interest in the functioning of the global financial markets and energy markets. These underlying interests ultimately led him to transition from the practice of law, to investment banking and ultimately to principal investing.

In addition to his primary positions, Mr. Veech has held several other board positions, including chairman of the board of Höegh LNG Partners, LP, an NYSE-listed MLP, as well as a member of the boards of directors of Bayonne Energy Center, Brazos Midstream, Red Oak Power LLC, Hornet Midstream, Eureka Midstream, Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP), Chicago Parking Meters, LLC, Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline and Skypower Global, going back as far as 2007.

Academically, Mr. Veech completed a Bachelor of Science in accounting, magna cum laude, at Lehigh University in 1980 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from Boston University in 1983. As the first member of his family to attend college, he credits his father's work ethic as a driving force behind his achievements. The discipline instilled during Mr. Veech's formative years shaped his approach to professional challenges, eschewing office politics in favor of intellectual honesty and client-focused results.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Veech is an active supporter of the special needs community. He is committed to philanthropic engagement through group activities for children and younger adults with special needs and participating in related services.

Throughout his career transitions, Mr. Veech maintained strong relationships within a consistent professional ecosystem. This network enabled him to adapt smoothly to new challenges while fostering sustained growth across diverse roles. Mr. Veech is recognized for his humility and grounded leadership style. He values learning from colleagues of all generations and adapting to evolving work cultures that emphasize work-life balance, a shift he has observed since his early days at Skadden Arps. His ability to remain focused on core objectives while resisting distractions has been central to his success. He ascribes much of his success to being blessed with a highly supportive spouse for almost 40 years.

Mr. Veech's passion for infrastructure investing emerged during his time at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners and deepened through involvement with Sustainability Partners LLC, a company dedicated to building more resilient infrastructure models for communities nationwide. Looking ahead, he is enthusiastic about taking on new advisory roles within companies, while dedicating more time to philanthropic initiatives, particularly those supporting individuals with special needs through sporting and community events.
