Since 2023, Dr. Wolsefer has also held the position of special programs coordinator at St. Tammany Parish Public Schools, the fourth-largest school district in Louisiana. In this role, she oversees the development and implementation of special education behavior programs throughout the district. Her responsibilities include managing operational functions, leading professional development sessions, and supporting educators through onboarding and ongoing training. Dr. Wolsefer's expertise in program management and special education has been instrumental in reconstructing the program and a developing comprehensive handbook and virtual platform that serve as essential resources for staff. Here, Dr. Wolsefer supported the district's implementation of the Leader in Me framework by incorporating leadership, accountability, and positive behavior practices into the behavior support programming. She also provided leadership for Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Ukeru implementation, coordinating training, coaching, and ongoing support for educators and staff. Her work focused on strengthening behavior systems, increasing educator capacity, and promoting proactive approaches to supporting students with complex behavioral needs.

From 2019 to 2023, Dr. Wolsefer was an assessment evaluation coordinator at the Ascension Parish School Board. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in evaluating educational programs and ensuring compliance with state standards. Between 2013 and 2019, Dr. Wolsefer served as a special education team lead at Livingston Parish Public Schools. She also contributed to an increase in subscores for special education literacy within her school.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Wolsefer worked as a financial advisor at MetLife Services and Solutions LLC from 2010 to 2012, where she provided financial guidance to clients while maintaining licensure as a financial advisor. Recruited from Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank, she spent 2007 to 2010 as an operations manager, overseeing daily operations and contributing to organizational efficiency.

Dr. Wolsefer's academic background is both extensive and diverse. Her academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in finance and financial management services from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix in 2010. She also holds a Master of Arts in special education and teaching since 2012, a Master of Arts in special education plus 30 credits since 2018, and a Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership in 2024, all from Southeastern Louisiana University. Additionally, Dr. Wolsefer earned a Master of Business Administration in managing innovation and technology from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond in 2026.

In addition to her formal education, Dr. Wolsefer's commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in numerous certifications, including certification as a financial advisor by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, numerous educational credentials, ranging from elementary education for grades one through five, mild to moderate grades one through five, and a highly qualified educator credential from the Louisiana Department of Education. Among other designations, Dr. Wolsefer received certifications in Google advanced data analytics, Google advanced data analytics capstone, Lean Six Sigma black belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute, and, among others, Ethics and AI: A Philosophical Guide to Responsible Use.

Dr. Wolsefer is a member of the National Certification of Educational Diagnosticians, reflecting her dedication to advancing standards within her field. Her civic engagement includes volunteering on task forces for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge, where she contributed to helping create a special education program for diocesan programs as well as serving on a task force for Livingston Parish Public Schools focused on increasing subscores for special education literacy. Dr. Wolsefer is also a donor to various charities, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.

Among her scholarly contributions, Dr. Wolsefer authored 'The Relationship of Special Education Placement and Academic Outcomes in Southeast Louisiana: A Mixed Methods Study,' published by ProQuest in 2024, and 'The Relationship of Special Education Placement and Academic Outcomes in Southeast Louisiana,' published in the Advances in Social Research journal in 2025. Among other accomplishments was the successful launch of a program that dramatically reduced seclusions and restraints involving students with disabilities by a 37% reduction in restraints and 40% reduction in seclusions. This achievement was realized through extensive teacher training, monthly district-wide professional development sessions and the introduction of a blended online-hybrid program developed in collaboration with an external vendor. The initiative included new tracking measures and hands-on support for educators over three years.

Looking ahead, Dr. Wolsefer aims to expand her consulting business nationwide, supporting students across general education and special education settings, and providing services that benefit teachers, educational professionals and school districts throughout the country. She is registered for several upcoming conferences across multiple states where she will share her expertise with broader audiences.
