From 2014 to 2022, Mr. Rhodes operated as a principal consultant at BC/DR3 Consulting Services Inc., providing independent consulting services to a diverse clientele that included organizations such as Delta Dental, Adobe, SanDisk, Amgen, Nestlé, Bank of America, and others. During this period, he was recognized for his ability to develop innovative programs for companies of all sizes, ensuring solutions were precisely aligned with organizational requirements. He also conducted design reviews and analysis for large banking institutions and compliance reviews of savings and loan organizations in the United States.

Between 2007 and 2014, Mr. Rhodes served as Program Manager of Disaster Recovery at Salesforce.com, where he contributed to the advancement of enterprise resiliency strategies and played a key role in the design, build, relocation, and migration of mainframe, mid-range, and colocation data centers. The program he developed at Salesforce.com received accolades from a major bank, which noted that it was superior to their own. Prior full-time leadership roles included Director of Business Continuity for Oracle Corporation; Regional Manager of Disaster Recovery Services for Affiliated Computer Services; and Manager of Disaster Recovery for American President Lines.

Additionally, his international experience has included several years living in Asia as an expatriate while holding operational responsibility across Asia and North America, where he developed new programs and training initiatives for staff throughout the region. Earlier in his career, beginning in the 1980s, Mr. Rhodes started as a programmer before transitioning into application development. He co-wrote the first Yard Control System that automated the movement of containers on ships and trucks globally and was part of the pioneering team that created an automated customs program for container loading onto ships. This groundbreaking work included adapting tracking technology from the cattle industry to automate truck and container movement through customs, eliminating manual entry by customs officers and streamlining logistics operations.

Mr. Rhodes's educational background included coursework at Campus (formerly MTI College). His commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by multiple credentials, including Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) from DRI International Inc., ICOR BCMM Assessor, Certified Crisis Communication Planner (CCCP), Incident Command Structure (ICS) Trainer, and Emergency Medical Technician 1A certification.

As part of his continued efforts to remain abreast of his industry, Mr. Rhodes maintains active memberships in several leading organizations related to his field, including ICOR, DRI International Inc., The Business Continuity Institute (BCI), and BRMA. Beyond his professional pursuits, he has dedicated significant time to civic engagement. Most notably, he volunteered for 10 years with a local fire department as Emergency Medical Technician 1A, Engineer 2, Duty Officer, and strike team leader during major fire campaigns in Northern and Southern California. He received Certificates of Recognition from the California State Senate and California Legislature as Firefighter of the Year in 1994. Mr. Rhodes also contributed by developing emergency response training programs. Current volunteer activities include participating in clean-up efforts at Golden Gate Park, working at food banks, donating gifts to children during Christmas, and supporting various other community initiatives.
