Dr. Diarra maintains an average daily patient load of six to seven scheduled appointments, with additional urgent cases as needed, ensuring timely and effective care while balancing routine and acute medical needs. In addition to his role at Pacific Concierge Physician, Dr. Diarra has served as medical director for a self-employed practice since 2024. In this capacity, he has continued to provide expert clinical oversight while developing innovative approaches to patient-centered care.

From 2015 to 2024, Dr. Diarra was a primary care physician at Legacy Health. During his tenure, he built a reputation for fostering strong relationships with his patients—a defining aspect of his professional journey. These connections became central to his practice philosophy, particularly after a period of reflection in 2024, during which he considered leaving medicine due to a perceived disconnect between the profession and his expectations. Ultimately, the value he placed on the therapeutic relationship between doctor and patient inspired him to recommit to his work. Throughout his career, Dr. Diarra has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and industry engagement. He has been a member of the American Academy of Private Physicians since 2026, a fellow of the American College of Physicians since 2023, and a diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Additionally, he participates in Business Network International, reflecting his interest in both clinical excellence and business leadership.

Dr. Diarra's academic background laid the foundation for his achievements in medicine. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, in 2012 after completing a Bachelor of Science in biomedical/medical engineering at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, in 2006. His educational journey began in Mali, where he was awarded a scholarship to attend medical school after graduating from high school. However, civil unrest disrupted his studies there, prompting him to seek opportunities abroad. With support from his mother's appointment to an international position with the United Nations, Dr. Diarra relocated to the United States, where he pursued higher education.

Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Diarra leveraged financial support for medical school before moving to Oregon to begin residency training at Legacy Health. During his final year of residency, he received the Resident of the Year Award for outstanding dedication to primary care, a testament to his perseverance and commitment to excellence. He also won the Hand Hygiene Competition during residency.

Dr. Diarra holds board certification in metabolic health and obesity medicine, further distinguishing him as an expert in these fields.

Perseverance has been central to Dr. Diarra's success. He credits this quality—developed alongside siblings during childhood—for enabling him to overcome obstacles throughout his academic and professional journey. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Diarra is civically engaged as co-chair of the diversity, equity and inclusion memberships committee for the Oregon chapter of the American College of Physicians. He also volunteered as a soccer coach from 2018 to 2024.

In his personal life, Dr. Diarra enjoys soccer, hiking, walking and reading non-fiction books as well as listening to audiobooks and podcasts. He is dedicated to fostering resilience in his children—Jenab Antoinette Diarra, Ava Barbara Diarra and Aminata Soraya Diarra—and values time spent with his family alongside his spouse, Jasmine Antoinette Diarra.
