He also worked as a tax professional with H&R Block from 2013 to 2015, applying his analytical and client-service skills to tax preparation and planning matters.
His earlier professional background also includes public sector experience as a law and public service intern with Macon-Bibb County Consolidated Government in 2008. He also served as an audit manager at Concord Hospitality Associates from 2000 to 2006, overseeing audit activities and supporting compliance with operational standards. His academic career began at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he worked with the religious studies department and served as an instructor from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Dillon earned a Juris Doctor from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia, in 2009, with advanced credentials in legal writing and law and public service.
