CHARLOTTE, NC, August 17, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sridhar Bukkarayasamudram has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Sridhar has spent more than thirty years at the crossroads of banking, technology and innovation. His career began inside the walls of a commercial bank in India but quickly expanded onto a global stage, where he has advised central banks, guided multinational institutions and partnered with fintechs reshaping the future of money. Today he serves as an associate partner in the financial services practice of Infosys Consulting, the global management consulting arm of Infosys Limited.

What sets Mr. Sridhar apart is his ability to blend the rigor of a strategist with the creativity of an architect. He has designed national payment infrastructures, explored the frontiers of central bank digital currencies, and pioneered AI-driven treasury and liquidity platforms. His work spans continents — from modernizing cross-border settlement systems in London to shaping financial inclusion initiatives in Asia and smart-city programs in the Middle East.

As a consulting leader, he built and scaled from the ground up a cards and payments practice that became a go-to partner for some of the world's largest banks. He is equally recognized for how he leads: he encourages gender diversity and equality, cultivates talent across geographies, and takes particular pride in a global team in which women form the majority — values he traces to his father's dedication as a teacher and to the influence of his mother, his wife and his daughter.

An accomplished author and thought leader, Mr. Sridhar's thought papers and reference architectures are widely read across the financial services industry, sparking ideas and serving as playbooks for digital transformation. His book, Money Pipes of the New World Order, is both a culmination of his decades of work and a provocation to think about the next era of money. It anchors his broader Money Pipes series, written for bankers, technologists and students of money movement, with a forthcoming companion volume, From Pipes to Practice. For Mr. Sridhar, writing is an extension of consulting: a way to share hard-won insights, challenge conventional thinking and prepare institutions for what comes next. In that same spirit, he has initiated collaborations with business schools to offer credit-bearing courses for graduate students.

His journey reflects steady, purposeful growth: from teaching during his early years in India, to more than eight years in commercial banking and technology at ING Vysya Bank (now part of Kotak Mahindra Bank), through product and technology consulting roles with Polaris, Infosys and Accenture across the world, before rising through Infosys Consulting to his current partnership role. He holds a bachelor's degree from Sri Krishnadevaraya University in Anantapur, India, where he earned a gold medal in chemistry along with postgraduate qualifications in management and computer applications.

Mr. Sridhar has been happily married to Vani, for 25 years and credits her unwavering support through every career transition, including the family's move from India to the United States. Their daughter, who graduated with distinction with a master's degree in information systems, now works in the same field. He enjoys traveling and studying cross-cultural sensitivity.

When he is not advising banks or speaking at industry forums, Mr. Sridhar continues to explore new ways to fuse policy, technology and strategy into actionable roadmaps. Looking ahead, he aspires to deepen his impact as a global thought leader in cards and payments while giving back through knowledge sharing and educational outreach.
