ROWLETT, TX, August 18, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rey Estevez has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Estevez has established a distinguished career in revenue cycle management and medical billing, marked by two decades of progressive leadership and expertise. Most recently, from 2024 to 2026, he served as a Manager of Revenue Cycle and Professional Billing at Texas Health Resources. In this capacity, he managed both onsite and offshore billing staff, oversaw accounts receivable processes and generated productivity reports. He also collaborated closely with executive leadership on key performance indicators, conducted performance and risk assessments and led strategic growth initiatives.
A hallmark of Mr. Estevez's tenure at Texas Health Resources was his ability to foster a strong team culture that mirrored the closeness of a family environment. His informal approach and willingness to be transparent enabled deeper connections among team members, resulting in enhanced collaboration, improved morale and increased productivity. This nurturing atmosphere contributed to a collective sense of camaraderie and was deeply felt by colleagues upon his departure.
From 2017 to 2024, Mr. Estevez held the role of Billing Supervisor at the same firm. Concurrently, he was a Supervisor of Billing and Coding at Texas Health Physicians Group in Dallas-Fort Worth after serving as a Coding Manager at Hershman Medical Center, P.A. for two years. At this latter company, he led coding operations, implemented quality assurance measures and supported the professional development of his team.
From 2012 to 2015, Mr. Estevez served as Medical Front Office Manager at Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches in Florida. He was also a Billing Manager for the same organization from 2010 to 2015, overseeing all aspects of medical billing operations and contributing to the financial health of the practice.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Estevez worked as Medical Assistant Lead at West Palm Beach Neurology in Florida from 2010 to 2011. He also served as Medical Billing and Administrative Specialist for Dr. Maria O. Lopez in Wellington, Florida, for two years.
Throughout his career, Mr. Estevez has been recognized for his expertise in revenue cycle management as well as billing and coding. He is an active member of the AAPC and Healthcare Financial Management Association, reflecting his commitment to ongoing professional development within the healthcare finance sector.
Educationally, Mr. Estevez's background includes coursework in Medical Billing and Coding at Palm Beach State College in Florida. He has earned several industry certifications that have underpinned his success, including as a professional coder (CPC), a Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM), and a Certified Family Practice Coder (CFPC) from the AAPC. He also holds a Six Sigma white belt and a real estate license from Gold Coast School of Real Estate (now Gold Coast Schools by Colibri Real Estate).
Mr. Estevez's journey into health care revenue cycle management began during high school when he sought volunteer hours required for graduation. Starting at age seventeen in a medical clinic's records department and front office roles, he learned clinic operations firsthand before becoming a Medical Assistant. Although he found patient-facing work less suited to his interests, observing an office manager's organized approach inspired him to pursue certification in medical billing and coding a decision that launched his accomplished career.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Estevez attributes his achievements to a strong work ethic developed early on, coupled with transparency and open communication throughout his management style. He prioritizes mental health within teams and is driven by a desire for thoroughness and accuracy in all professional endeavors.
Born in Miami into a close-knit Latino and Italian family that values togetherness and cultural connection, Mr. Estevez relocated to Texas seeking better career opportunities and a more fitting cultural environment. His family later joined him in the Dallas area; they now live within fifteen minutes of each other. He maintains particularly close relationships with his nieces, celebrating their birthdays as cherished occasions.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Estevez enjoys cooking, working out, hiking, fishing, hunting, traveling and learning about different cultures. During his nine years at Texas Health Resources, he participated actively in community volunteer work through the organization's Community Time Off program, a commitment he intends to expand upon following retirement as he seeks greater involvement in meaningful volunteer efforts.
Looking ahead, Mr. Estevez plans to pursue work with a personal touch that prioritizes meaningful impact over financial gain. He is interested in hands-on humanitarian work inspired by witnessing natural disasters and a desire to help those most in need.
