Her expertise includes ventilator management, airway care, blood gas analysis, non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, bronchoscopy assistance, tracheostomy care, emergency response, and ventilator weaning.

She is known for her composure in high-acuity situations and is highly regarded for her clinical judgment, teamwork, and compassionate patient care. She regularly responds to emergencies such as rapid response events, intubations, bronchoscopies, and Code Blue situations, with a strong focus on supporting veterans with complex pulmonary and spinal cord conditions.

In addition to clinical care, Ms. St. Onge mentors new Respiratory Therapists, educates nursing staff, and assists Resident Physicians in critical care training. Her efforts have strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration and improved patient outcomes.

She has received an Interdisciplinary Award from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and multiple peer recognitions for excellence and teamwork. Ms. St. Onge earned an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care from Hillsborough Community College.

Outside of work, she enjoys photography, nature, and studying holistic wellness. She also hopes to train service dogs for veterans. Looking ahead, she remains committed to advancing respiratory care and serving veterans with compassion, integrity, and dedication.
