TOLLESBORO, KY, August 18, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jonathan Wallingford has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Wallingford's career in the manufacturing and industrial sector is distinguished by his expertise in ball mill manufacturing and custom machinery manufacturing, as well as his leadership of JSB Industrial Solutions, INC (Economy Ball Mill) since 2012. As president, he manages major components and purchasing, oversees sales and general management, directs work coordination, manages customer relationships, oversees laboratory testing operations and coordinates work schedules. During his tenure, Mr. Wallingford guided the company through significant economic challenges, most notably during the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to a dramatic loss of contracts and a sharp decline in annual revenue, he invested in a comprehensive website overhaul. He implemented digital marketing strategies such as search engine optimization, geofencing and online advertising. These efforts restored growth and positioned the business for long-term success.

Several years after stabilizing the company, Mr. Wallingford led a major expansion by completing construction of a new manufacturing facility in January 2026 and converting the former facility into a full-scale laboratory. He views this achievement as evidence of the company's resilience and growth following the pandemic. Additionally, he has focused on serving the rare earth minerals processing sector, where there is increasing demand for equipment capable of reducing materials to 65 microns for microchip manufacturing. Mr. Wallingford frequently defends his company's design and engineering capabilities to prospective customers who expect larger manufacturers in this niche market, emphasizing both his academic credentials and the company's 70-year legacy to build credibility.

Before his current role, Mr. Wallingford worked as a production technician in the paper industry. In this position, he benefited from a tuition reimbursement program that enabled him to pursue higher education while gaining practical experience in industrial operations. Before entering the paper industry, he spent approximately five years in the mining sector as a blasting, drilling, roof control and heavy equipment operator. These early roles provided him with foundational knowledge of blue-collar work environments and laid the groundwork for his later achievements in manufacturing leadership.

Mr. Wallingford's educational background has played a crucial role in his professional development. He earned an associate degree in applied science from Kentucky Community & Technical College System in 2009. Building on this foundation, he completed a bachelor's degree in technology management at Morehead State University in 2013. He later earned a master's degree in engineering management from Morehead State University in 2014. His academic training not only enhanced his technical expertise but also equipped him with management skills essential for navigating complex business challenges. Drawing on both education and industry experience, Mr. Wallingford developed a five-point acquisition framework that enabled him to identify and acquire Economy Ball Mill through JSP Industrial Solutions.

Membership in Lions International reflects Mr. Wallingford's commitment to professional engagement within his field. His contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the Small Business of the Year Manufacturing award from the State of Kentucky in 2016, the Melvin Jones Award from Lions International and designation as a Kentucky Colonel that same year.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Wallingford has demonstrated a deep commitment to community improvement within his hometown of approximately 15,000 residents spread across 500 square miles. He has personally invested in local development projects such as renovating the baseball field where his children played by adding new bases, fencing and utility fields. His support for local athletics includes matching a $5,000 donation to provide knee braces for the high school football team.

In his personal life, Mr. Wallingford is married with three adult children whom he has encouraged to pursue independence and fulfillment according to their own interests rather than predetermined paths. Throughout challenging periods — particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic — his wife's encouragement was instrumental in helping him persevere through adversity.

Looking ahead, Mr. Wallingford plans to expand his company significantly by increasing annual revenue through organic growth or through acquiring a complementary manufacturer of downstream processing equipment used with ball mills. Should an acquisition occur, he intends to continue producing both primary and auxiliary equipment for several more years before considering an eventual sale of the business to a private equity firm. After exiting the business, Mr. Wallingford hopes to teach as an adjunct professor or become involved in vocational education while also spending more time on his farm and traveling with his wife.

Throughout his career journey, Mr. Wallingford attributes his success to perseverance and determination — qualities that have enabled him to overcome setbacks and achieve prominence within his industry.
