RICHMOND, VA, August 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shannon Leigh Eastwood has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Eastwood's professional journey of more than two decades reflects a dynamic blend of innovation, leadership and a commitment to helping others through everything she does. As the founder of the holistic wellness brand Our Lotus Society, she has been dedicated to establishing her company as a community cornerstone while continuing her own growth through mentorship and coaching from Mindvalley. By teaching yoga classes, planning and hosting retreats, and creating and sharing wellness content through her personal voice and story, she mentors individuals all over the world to aid their respective healing, self-transformation or reflection journeys.
Alongside her efforts at Our Lotus Society, Ms. Eastwood served as the global head of technology product with the philanthropic fundraiser Reset Tech from 2023 to 2025. In this role, she fostered a global community dedicated to enhancing the relationship between media, technology, and democracy by working with professionals worldwide, including individuals in Latvia, Ukraine, Africa, Canada, Germany, Australia, and the United States.
Ms. Eastwood valued the opportunity to bring her authentic self to Reset Tech and found genuine meaning in this work, both by developing technology platforms and research tools and in the day-to-day conversations that helped others achieve their goals and amplify their voices. She considers this global impact — grounded in empathy and shared human values — as her most significant professional accomplishment to date.
Also sharing her knowledge and experience through academia, Ms. Eastwood served as adjunct faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond from 2023 to 2024, teaching graduate-level courses within the school's Master of Product Innovation program. Prior to that, she spent two years at the staffing recruitment firm Aquent Scout, first as a senior product manager before advancing to become head of product.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Eastwood made an impact as the director of strategy at Mobelux from 2018 to 2021, during which she supported both startup businesses and Fortune 500 companies with content strategy and product design solutions. Working as a brand development manager at The Abstract Athlete from 2017 to 2018, she played a key role in driving the company's mission to share the benefits of creative activities on one's mental health through collaborations with professional athletes.
As the senior product development manager at Evergreen Enterprises from 2010 to 2017, Ms. Eastwood gained valuable experience in managing brand identity, marketing and logistics for outdoor textile garden products and international factory operations. Before that, she excelled as a project manager at Grace Street Home Additions in Richmond from 2007 to 2010, focusing on both residential and commercial properties. She began her diverse career as a technical designer for Liz Claiborne Inc. in New York City from 2002 to 2005 after receiving an initial opportunity with the luxury women's wear line operated by Dana Buchman, who quickly became a valued mentor and role model for Ms. Eastwood.
Hailing from an equally diverse and distinguished academic background, Ms. Eastwood earned a Master of Product Innovation with a focus on social innovation from the VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation in 2018 as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre performance from VCU in 2002. She also completed the innovation program at the European Innovation Academy in 2017, attended the Governor's School of the Arts for theatre at the University of Richmond in 1997, and participated in the Summer Enrichment Program for humanities at the University of Virginia in 1994.
Dedicated to the ideals of continuous learning and growth, Ms. Eastwood earned the Building a Diverse Workforce certificate from Cornell University in 2022 and was certified as a Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance at VCU in 2017.
Reflecting on her impactful journey thus far, Ms. Eastwood attributes much of her success to the strong faith-based foundation she developed during her upbringing in a Baptist church, later expanded through studies of Buddhism and Hinduism. Influential mentors such as Warren Buffett have shaped her economic perspectives, while President Barack Obama's leadership approach has likewise inspired her deeply. She also credits grit, passion and determination as essential qualities throughout her journey, guided by an inner compass grounded in empathy and resilience.
Beyond her career achievements, Ms. Eastwood is known for her civic-minded contributions and creative pursuits. She facilitated the LGBTQIA+ & Allies Employee Resource Group at Aquent in 2022 and spent three years organizing chapters for OpenIDEO, all with the goal of driving positive change on social and environmental issues worldwide. Additionally, she was the director of community engagement for SSUPP Foods from 2018 to 2019 and has volunteered with Nature Camp, supported political campaigns such as Shannon Taylor for Congress and engaged in volunteer tutoring efforts to guide those in need.
Recognized for her outstanding leadership and innovative contributions — particularly throughout her tenure at Evergreen Enterprises — Ms. Eastwood was honored as the winner of the Pin-It Contest in 2014, the Creative Light Bulb Contest in 2013 and the Creative Crayon Contest in 2012. She was also awarded the Dean's Scholarship by the State of Virginia, underscoring her dedication to student excellence.
In her personal life, Ms. Eastwood is the proud mother of one 20-year-old daughter and one 11-year-old son. She describes herself as multidimensional: a parent, professional and whole human being who does not fit into any one category but instead sees herself as a kaleidoscope whose life and journey are constantly evolving.
Looking to the future with determination, Ms. Eastwood plans to publish one or two inspirational books with aspirations for national and international book tours as well as media appearances that include interviews with prominent figures such as Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama. She also envisions expanding her efforts with Our Lotus Society, either by partnering with organizations like Mindvalley or by developing her own platform centered on wellness education. Moreover, she intends to host retreats, workshops and classes, further amplifying her influence in the health and wellness sector as well as her positive impact on the lives of individuals both in Virginia and around the world.
