Mr. Harikumar also contributed his expertise as an advisor with AdvisoryCloud from 2019 to 2021 and held the position of director of product management and solutions marketing at Fortinet Inc. for one year. For the preceding three years, he was a senior manager of product line management at Juniper Networks Inc. Before immigrating to the United States, he managed software development operations for Patons Overseas Ltd. in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 1995 to 1997 and began his professional journey as a software consultant and early entrepreneur with various companies in India from 1991 to 1995.

Throughout his career, Mr. Harikumar has been recognized for launching more than twelve cybersecurity products across major organizations including Cisco Systems Inc., Fortinet Inc., Juniper Networks Inc. and Network Start (acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise). His collaborations with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Google Cloud have been particularly impactful. Among his most notable achievements is the launch of a cybersecurity firewall at Hewlett Packard Enterprise that resulted in sales exceeding one million units—a milestone for which he received the CEO Excellence Award.

Academically, Mr. Harikumar's background includes earning a Master of Business Administration in marketing management and entrepreneurship from Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University in 2010. He holds an associate degree in project management from The George Washington University, awarded in 2007, and completed doctoral coursework in computer science at University of Kerala in India in 1994.

He further obtained a postgraduate diploma in computer applications from University of Kerala in India in 1991 and a Master of Science degree in mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University in India in 1990.
