SAN ANTONIO, TX, August 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Celina Marie Quilantan has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Quilantan currently serves in the dual capacity of Foot Health Department Manager and Board of Certification (B.O.C.) Certified Pedorthist at Gonzaba Medical Group, a prominent healthcare organization located in San Antonio, Texas, where she has successfully led the strategic growth, operational development, and clinical expansion of multi-site Foot Health operations since joining the leadership team in 2020. Her extensive and multifaceted responsibilities include overseeing and optimizing clinical workflows and procedures, managing patient access and scheduling systems, coordinating comprehensive diabetic shoe services and therapeutic footwear programs, ensuring strict regulatory compliance with federal and state healthcare standards, and fostering team development through training and mentorship—all while maintaining close collaborative relationships with physicians, specialists, and healthcare leaders to continuously improve preventive lower-extremity care delivery and patient outcomes.

A particularly significant and noteworthy achievement in Ms. Quilantan's professional career has been her instrumental role in developing, implementing, and substantially expanding Gonzaba Medical Group's comprehensive referral-based diabetic shoe program. After initially joining Gonzaba Medical Group in 2016 in a clinical capacity, she played a pivotal role in helping to transform what was initially a modest program into a fully dedicated and robust Foot Health Department that now serves patients across multiple clinical locations throughout the region. Under her visionary leadership and dedicated management, the program has significantly strengthened preventive care efforts and initiatives, dramatically improved patient access to therapeutic diabetic footwear and related services, enhanced and streamlined referral processes and coordination between departments, and actively supported broader organizational initiatives specifically focused on reducing diabetes-related foot complications, preventing ulcerations, and ultimately decreasing rates of limb loss among vulnerable patient populations.

Before joining Gonzaba Medical Group, Ms. Quilantan gained valuable and formative experience working as a Board of Certification (B.O.C.) Certified Pedorthist at Hill Country Orthotics & Prosthetics, where she honed her clinical skills and patient care expertise, and previously served in multiple capacities including Pedorthist, Medicare liaison, and medical receptionist at Sole Support Medical. These diverse and complementary roles helped shape and refine her comprehensive expertise in direct patient care, healthcare operations management, insurance coordination, and medical device fitting and coordination.

Beyond her demanding professional responsibilities and clinical duties, Ms. Quilantan is actively and enthusiastically involved with the Pedorthic Footcare Association (PFA), the leading professional organization for pedorthic practitioners, where she currently serves as Chair of the Membership&Marketing Committee and holds a seat as a member of the Board of Directors, helping to guide the strategic direction of the association. In 2026, she received special recognition as one of the association's inaugural Founding Fellows, a distinguished honor bestowed upon her for her unwavering dedication to advancing the professional field of pedorthics and elevating standards of practice.

Inspired and motivated by her own family's personal experience with diabetes and its complications, Ms. Quilantan has dedicated her entire professional career to improving diabetic foot care delivery, expanding access to preventive resources and therapeutic interventions, and educating patients and healthcare providers about the critical importance of lower-extremity health. She has also generously supported various community health initiatives and outreach programs through her active involvement with the American Diabetes Association and participation in local diabetes awareness efforts and health fairs.

A proud San Antonio native with deep roots in the community, Ms. Quilantan continues to actively pursue ongoing professional growth and development through continuing education programs, leadership development opportunities, professional certifications, and advocacy work within the healthcare sector. Looking ahead to the future, she remains firmly committed to advancing healthcare leadership practices, strengthening and promoting interdisciplinary collaborative approaches to diabetic limb preservation and wound care, mentoring and inspiring future healthcare professionals entering the field, and continuing to advocate for improved access to quality pedorthic care for underserved populations.

Ms. Quilantan attributes her success to her faith, the unwavering support of her parents, and the exceptional team she has the privilege of leading and working alongside at Gonzaba Medical Group. She also credits the mentors, physicians, colleagues, and healthcare leaders who have invested in her professional development throughout her career, believing that meaningful accomplishments are built through collaboration, integrity, and a shared commitment to serving others.

Her unwavering dedication, genuine compassion for patients, and steadfast commitment to improving patient outcomes and quality of life continue to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the healthcare community and beyond.
