NAPERVILLE, IL, August 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard A. Cuttaia has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Cuttaia's professional journey is distinguished by nearly four decades of dedicated service and leadership within the building materials industry, most notably with Tremco CPG Inc. In 2025, he was appointed to the newly established position of business development manager for all of North America at Tremco CPG Inc., a role that reflects both his expertise and the company's confidence in his ability to guide strategic growth.

Now in his second year in this capacity, Mr. Cuttaia directs a team of approximately 10 specialists, each focused on key product lines, such as insulated concrete forms, below-grade waterproofing and roofing. He travels extensively across North America while working remotely between trips, selecting and prioritizing five key territories across the U.S. and Canada each year. His responsibilities include coordinating with regional managers and their sales representatives toward the strongest opportunities within those territories, recruiting and training new sales representatives as the business grows, and integrating team members from acquired companies as product-line experts. Mr. Cuttaia's leadership has been instrumental in shortening ramp-up periods following acquisitions, strategically deploying business development specialists alongside local teams to establish a strong regional presence and ensuring that the company's expansion into new markets is both effective and sustainable.

Before assuming his current role, Mr. Cuttaia served as a regional sales manager for Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing in the Midwest/Great Lakes region and Central East region from 2015 to 2025. During this period, he oversaw sales operations across multiple states, guiding teams through significant acquisition-related changes and helping to integrate new product lines into the company's portfolio. Between 2013 and 2015, Mr. Cuttaia held the position of district manager for Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing in the Midwest, where he managed district-level sales activities and contributed to the company's continued growth in key markets.

Mr. Cuttaia's earlier career included a long tenure as a senior sales representative for Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing, covering Illinois and Indiana from 1988 to 2013. In this capacity, he built a reputation as the company's deck coating specialist, developing that segment from its earliest stages through advanced applications. Mr. Cuttaia played a pivotal role in securing major projects such as the renovation of Notre Dame Stadium between 1995 and 1997, a project involving over 650,000 square feet of deck coating, and Soldier Field's renovation ahead of its 2003 inaugural game, which encompassed nearly one million square feet of deck coating and below-grade waterproofing. These achievements were complemented by his successful efforts to establish enduring relationships with influential consulting firms like Walker Parking Consultants, opening doors that had previously been closed to Tremco.

Mr. Cuttaia began his career with Mameco (now part of Tremco CPG) in Beachwood, Ohio, following in his father's (Angelo Cuttaia) footsteps, Richard starting as a regional sales representative in 1988 after relocating from Port Clinton to Chicago. His daughter Alexa also had the honor of working for Tremco from 2018-2021 built around a joint venture with USG. Zach Weldon, Richard's nephew, joined the company in 2024 under an inaugurial sales associate program. Noting three generations, of which he is very proud. During this period, Mr. Cuttaia covered territories across Illinois, Michigan and part of Indiana before expanding his reach following RPM's acquisition of Tremco in 1997. Earlier still, Mr. Cuttaia gained foundational experience in outside sales with Holmes Associates from 1985 to 1988.

Laying a strong foundation for his achievements in business development and sales leadership, Mr. Cuttaia earned a bachelor's degree in business services with minors in marketing and sales, and business management from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, in 1987. His academic pursuits were complemented by practical experience gained during college when he worked full-time at a distributorship while completing coursework at night. This early immersion into commercial sales shaped Mr. Cuttaia's approach to building genuine relationships within the industry, an approach rooted in openness, honesty and trustworthiness. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Cuttaia holds certification as a LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council Inc., further demonstrating his commitment to advancing sustainable practices within construction and building envelope solutions.

Mr. Cuttaia's commitment to professional excellence is reflected in his active involvement with industry organizations, including serving on the board of the International Concrete Repair Institute Inc., membership with the Construction Specifications Institute and holding the LEED Green Associate credential through the U.S. Green Building Council Inc. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is committed to civic engagement through support for several organizations, such as the V Foundation for Cancer Research, Wounded Warriors Project and Habitat for Humanity International (through Tremco CPG Inc.). Together with his wife Gina, Mr. Cuttaia also supports Loaves & Fishes, where Gina has volunteered her services since 2005. More recently the Cuttaia's have been volunteering through The Compass Church in helping Hesed House and Naomi Women's Shelter.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cuttaia has developed expertise in sales team leadership and coaching, coatings, waterproofing, business development and pricing and distribution strategy, areas in which he is widely regarded as an authority. Recognition for his contributions has included receiving RPM International Inc.'s prestigious 168 Awards in 2017 for introducing new polyurethane methacrylate technology sourced from Europe, an innovation that was successfully brought to market with a select team. The award is especially meaningful as it spans all RPM companies and recognizes individuals who exemplify life balance alongside professional achievement. Over the years, Mr. Cuttaia has also received numerous sales achievement awards tied to surpassing annual performance benchmarks as well as incentive trip recognitions such as several cruises. Looking ahead, he anticipates focusing on fully establishing his business development team at Tremco CPG Inc., ensuring its continued success while considering future opportunities that allow him more time close to home and family.
